Yeah, it was the same for me.Mr36 said:EDIT
There was one particularly unsettling bit in Dead Space 2 that bugged me.
When you go back to the Ishimura, there's a decontamination chamber you must go through. I remember in the first game when you go through there, it locks you in a tiny room and a bunch of necromorphs jump out at you, so that's what I was expecting. Instead, you stand in the small room for about 30 seconds, holding your breath and waiting for them to come, but they never do... The room just decons and lets you pass. That was a good part for me.
Oh god i thought you were being serious at first... it actually hurt a bitDumbfish1 said:I know, you'd of thought that more people would know about, or at least a website dedicated to gaming news might post a few articles about it.dathwampeer said:No. I can't say I've ever heard of that game.Dumbfish1 said:The creepers from this indie game called minecraft are terrifiying. Maybe you've heard of it? It's not very well known...
Must only be the coolest of the cool cats who know about that very awesome yet inexplicably unappreciated game.
The whole Ishimura gave me the creeps. I was like, "I'm gonna get swamped." First few rooms no enemies...Hmmm. After the chamber still no enemies...'OH! I get it. They're gonna swamp me in some long dark tunnel and then swamp me the whole way off the ship. *Enter the dark tunnel with the Necromorphs that charge you* Okay...Dark and a tunnel. Theres gonna be enemies. *Pick up a crate, throw it down the tunnel* 'GRAGHR'....'Shit, there it is'. >_>Kopikatsu said:Yeah, it was the same for me.Mr36 said:EDIT

Then the second time you go through, I saw a Pack banging on the glass where I just came from. I was like 'Why would one be there? I'm not going back that way.' So I turned around and saw an Enhanced Slasher in the direction I would be heading. 'Oh. They were trying to distract me. That's...stupid.' *Loud crash from behind* 'What was th-OHGODMYFACEITSEATINGMYFAAAAAACE'
The fact that its the first level you're truly alone in the game makes the entire experience much worse, or better depending upon your liking for scary things.Rem45 said:Creepiest moment? Any horror game that you don't have a gun to defend yourself with.
Also Halo...Yes halo. When I saw all the dead Covenant lying on the ground my instant thought was, "Shit...There's something worse around."
