Yeah, we all know where this trend in robotic development is going. Nice try at attempting to paper over a legitamate use for them.

Hey, I'll try anything once...

Pretty realistic as far as human looking robots go. Though I prefer something that looks robot while aesthetically pleasing.

kind of like this

That's just amazing! They got everything down to the subtle muscle movements in her face when she smiles!

Well I didn't know it was to be good and evil. I thought you just meant East robots slugging it out with West robots. Still, I rather like the brutal design's of western robots personaly, something about them just clicks to me.

Well, it's nice to know that the field of nursing will be outsourced by something that doesn't need to feed its children. Way to go Japan.

See this is where it all starts, and when we're all just a bunch of organic batteries guess who they'll blame.

Oh this is all the Japanese fault, what a bunch of tools they were, we have to spend all day computing pi because they plugged in the overlords.

Yes, let's put an advanced, and very creepy, robot next to a weak human. Couldn't possibly go wrong.

Honestly, just looking at that thing creeps me the fuck out.

The parts where it looked less human were where it stayed still, they should have programed with little randow movements for idle time.

Wow, am I the only one who doesn't find it creepy? It's incredibly life like and the facial expresions are unbelieveable for something mechanical. I've never seen a robot smile before, and I think there's something quite beautiful in that.

You know what? This robot has actually moved PAST the uncanny valley for me in terms of how it looks! Seriously, it looks...very lifelike.

But as said, the details still remain to be polished. All the little things still make it a distinct automaton. The movement...the voice not being produced from a larnyx...obviously not being able to walk and navigate a room properly...and of course god forbid you look into its eyes because yeah...the creepiness thus begineth heh.

Still...I must say I was unexpectedly taken aback by how good it looks at the very least...whoever did its 'skin' and 'hair'...good work!
