Preorder is in general not a good idea unless they give something very noteworthy as a bonus or if the game is being made by a super known entity like Marvel Tokon that you know you will wanna play (and in tokon’s case have had 2 beta tests to try the game out on).I have no horse in this race as I'm not interested in the game, but it is suspicious how they keep hiding console footage before release.
Certainly not a game I would preorder going by this behaviour.
I'm not saying it's going to look like shite or run like garbage, I'm hoping it'll run and look great, but the act of hiding the console footage before release in itself is scummy.
A random shield is definitely not worth the preorder.
But yeah all that said there’s been like 8 hours worth of ps5 pro footage out by various people that runs fine. The notion that a game which runs fine on pro would run like release day cyberpunk did, or really notably worse at all on performance settings, on base ps5 is ridiculous. Still no reason to preorder either way, but anyone being worried is very odd to me.
