Wait, wait... why is Miss Eartbending? New game coming out that I don't know about yet, or what?
Movie, actually.

And it's out right now.

And yes, Avatar is in 3D. (I couldn't help myself)
But... doesn't is suck ass completely in every way?
Yes, in every way imaginable, that movie was a gigantic bucket of shit.

The new series looks good though. Steam punk avatar? Fuck yeah!

I also just blew Avatar off as an anime rip off too. Then I actually watched the series and found it to be quite good. And yeah, Iroh and Toph are both badasses.

OT: That was really damn funny. Normally I don't really like the comic because of it's insults to it's readers, but this one was actually really, really funny. Good work.

Well played. Though, depends on the narration, and who's doing it.
What if they had Samuel L Jackson narrating? That could actually be full of win. Especially if they let him use curse words.

I got a good laugh out of this one. Nice to see the punchline come at the end of the comic rather than the middle (some of the recent ones have been guilty of this.)

And yes, props for the Toph outfit. :)

My narrator would quit when he found out my life was more boring than watching paint dry.

Loved the comic and i completely agree with your statement about Avatar.

Watching it i did enjoy it but, i felt that being aimed at kids was really holding it back.
I didn't want it to turn into Pulp Fiction or anything but, i felt it that would have worked out better if it was aimed at teens to young adults IMO.

The Terrible Rapist ogres bit was so funny it almost makes me forgive you for calling A:TLA toothless.

Edit: Also I hate people saying it was an "Anime Ripoff". It was a series that took visual inspiration from anime and used the techniques it learned from it well to create a genuine series that did so well. That's like calling Hamlet a "Book ripoff".

Besides, I can think of a whole ton of anime series that A:TLA is hands-down better than. I don't see why dreck like Bleach that makes twilight look butch can be thought of as more legitimate than a series just because it was made in Japan.

Super-otaku "subs only" elitism is just the mirror of the "dat dere Japanimation" attitude that keeps people from being taken seriously.

Jackson knows words without curses attached? I am amazed. /sarcasm

I believe there already is a game where the narrator beaks at your every action. The Bards Tale.

Watched a video with this narration going on. And it's not "our hero" it's "the kid". The guy's voice wasn't one you'd get tired of listening to and he made me chuckle just talking about random stuff. It's like having some old western sheriff talking about your adventure as you're doing it. Looks like a standard hack and slash but I'd play it just for that narrator.
