Obviously I have a good connection right now, which is why I am able to use Steam. The fact that you assumed I would only be angered at classicism if was on the bottom rung is also worrying.Geo Da Sponge said:Well for a start, you don't need a powerful PC to use Steam, especially since many of the games on it are quite old and could on just about anything, eg. Fallout 2 or the Commandos series. Secondly, if you don't have an internet connection, how are you reading this webcomic?Pseudonym2 said:You come off as incredibly elitist. Only people with powerful computers and connection to the internet can use Steam. Not everyone can afford both of those.
I have to check the statistics (Would anyone know where to check? It's been at least a year since I did.) but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of Americans do not have high speed internet access in their homes and about half don't have any connection at all in their houses.JeanLuc761 said:Steam has a games catalog ranging from early 90s (Doom) to 2011 (Dead Space 2). Are you saying your average Canadian has better internet connection then your average American?Pseudonym2 said:Obviously I have a good connection right now, which is why I am able to use Steam. While there are a few good games someone can run on steam with an old computer, there are other sites that have the games DRM free assuming the player can't get a physical copy.
Even in a crisis such as this, that would still come across as a joke.zombie711 said:does that mean window games is the best on the pc now?

Same here. I think they're supposed to be editors, like maybe Funk, or Tito. Only we've never seen them so..... fingers cross for Susan Arendt guest appearance.GeorgW said:I don't get the escapist jab, who are they?
The one on the right is frighteningly attractive.HT_Black said:Why do those retarded Ex-capists seem so familiar...?
No, I'm serious. I can't put my finger on it. Does anyone know?
I don't see how that makes my point any less valid. I'll rephrase for the pedantically minded: "Well for a start,Pseudonym2 said:Obviously I have a good connection right now, which is why I am able to use Steam. Let me rephrase the argument; who, out of the people who actually care what Steam is and are likely to be interested in gaming, will not have an internet connection?I have to check the statistics (Would anyone know where to check?
