It would have been a fair assumption to make. Perhaps you didn't intend to word it in that way, but you do give the impression that you saw vulgarity and critical thinking as somewhat incompatible. Although I do acknowledge your point about text being insufficient, I wouldn't go so far to say that it's non-existent either.
Which I really didn´t mean to imply, as, for one, I really like Carlin (though I personally prefer Frankie Boyle when it comes to smart and offensive).
Be that as it may, I might try to pay closer attention to the written component of CM from now one. If an apparently intelligent person like you gets something out of it, maybe there´s something in there for me too.
