That was my "Win before my first turn" comment...And it's EVIL. I was on the recieving end of it,and the guy laughted,and agreed to use a NORMAL deck for the rematch. A swarm of 7/1 goblin tokens never felt better to use...

Each week seems to be a satirical spin on a new or popular game. I'm fine with that, the content is funny and entertaining, it just makes the comic series feel a bit schizophrenic, like it's having an identity crisis. Either it has a story or it's satire. Yeah. Blightsteel is kind of silly in that he can one hit kill you without any assistance. I'm not sure if there's any other creature that can do that? Except maybe that one summoned by that special land. I forget it's name. But overall Blightsteel is just less Iconic in my opinion. Probably because he hasn't been around all that long. That and he doesn't kinda look like the iron Giant.

Yea, you read that right. Protection. From. Everything. Darksteel Colossus can still be exiled with cards like "path to exile" or "swords to plowshares". Progenitus? can't be blocked or targeted by anything. Yea. Feels good. And ofcourse there are dirty ways to sneak him out early.

Ah yes, thanks for reminding me of that strategy. I'm more of an EDH man since 60 card games move way too fast for me, got a nice turn 2-3 infect deck in the makes though.

Ha! But you forget Darksteel Colossus costs 11. Besides, even if you do hit me, Platinum Angel exists for a reason.

Well, him and True Conviction (creatures you control have Doublestrike and Lifelink). And with Akroma's Memorial on the field, that adds up to some pretty nasty damage to a non-flying deck.

Also, just exile or destroy the Bullshit Boots, then go after the Darksteel. Problem solved!
