Console Players, you know, who the game was intended for.number2301 said:Who on earth will buy that when they've released modding tools?

Still more than Valve's ever charged for their TF2 maps - hard to get cheaper or better value than 'free'.Ephraim J. Witchwood said:Though $10 for 4 maps ain't bad. Call of Duty map packs are more per map, even when you count the Zombies maps.
Sorry but... get rid of one of the things that differentiated it the most? The cloak adds some good tension, and forces people to think about some resource management.MiracleOfSound said:Get rid of Cloak and I'll buy it. Till then, never touching the multiplayer again.
I think we're always gonna have different taste in online shooters Woodsey... to me the cloak just caters to a playstyle that I hate... hiding in a corner and ambushing people.Woodsey said:Sorry but... get rid of one of the things that differentiated it the most? I mostly hate online shooters xD It just gave it a different feeling. And you do a lot better by actively hunting people too.MiracleOfSound said:I think we're always gonna have different taste in online shooters Woodsey... to me the cloak just caters to a playstyle that I hate... hiding in a corner and ambushing people.Woodsey said:Sorry but... get rid of one of the things that differentiated it the most? I much prefer shooters where you rush around like a headless chicken and win your fights through pure gun skill rather than using certain resources at certain times. (i.e. I'm just a huge COD4 fanboy)
That's true man, there's always camping little scaredy-cats in every shooter, I just hate when games give them tools to help with that. (hence why I hate Black Ops so much)Woodsey said:I mostly hate online shooters xD It just gave it a different feeling. And you do a lot better by actively hunting people too.
I personally used well time cloaked sprints to cover open areas. Snuck through buildings silently assassinating targets. Hiding in corners cloaked never worked for me yet all my sucesses where do to tactical cloak use. The best thing about the game is that it is the only game I know where you can cloak and SPRINT/PARKOUR at the same time.MiracleOfSound said:I think we're always gonna have different taste in online shooters Woodsey... to me the cloak just caters to a playstyle that I hate... hiding in a corner and ambushing people.Woodsey said:Sorry but... get rid of one of the things that differentiated it the most? People who understand that 97% of player generated content SUUUUUUUUUUUUU (several hours later) UUUCKS, and that the other 3%, even when good or great, isn't worth waiting on, nor ignoring what the developers are doing.number2301 said:Who on earth will buy that when they've released modding tools?
