I quite like them but I don't really care for much of their new stuff from Resistance. That being said they are definately one of the best bands to go and see live, as the show is amazing.

Used to love them a lot.

Hysteria still remains my favorite song till this day.

The newish album Resistance suffered from trying to put the message in front of actually having a passable tune. The songs were lackluster and lazy in my opinion, really moving away from what they were fucking amazing at and replacing it for the whole new shitty sound.

I don't think that they really had any worse or better albums from before that though.

I personally enjoy Muse. I have a lot of their songs on my MP3 player. I personally enjoy there Absolution album the most with my favorite songs being "Soldier Side", "Uprising", "Sing for Absolution", and "Undisclosed Desires." I got to go to one of their concerts and I really liked it. I couldn't help but laugh at a commercial once where they were using "Butterflies and Hurricanes." They were using the song to showcase some new seasons of popular shows on a certain channel with that song playing in the background. It was suppose to sound uplifting and inspirational, but I knew that they got it wrong because the song is about getting revenge on someone and bidding your time to do it. It made me laugh pretty hard.

On a side note, I enjoy them because they are much better than any of today's American rock groups. Seriously what happened to American rock music? Did the nasty drug habit known as "the 80s" leave permanent brain damage to the music industry? They are a very few songs from the 90s to the present that I enjoy.
Soldier's Side is a System Of A Down song :p I think you meant Soldier's Poem.

I knew only a few songs (Sing for Absolution, Plug In Baby and Butterflies & Hurricanes) of them, but then I saw them live...
I've seen them live 3 times by now, and I can't get enough.
Yes Yes Yes... Megalomania is amazing :D What kind of show did they do? When I went there were sheets of fabric with buildings projected onto them that they did all kinds of cool things with.

I like them. I can't think of anyone who doesn't like them, tbh.
Comment Retracted due to too many people taking a joke too seriously, and not understanding the meaning of irony and sarcasm.
Usually jokes are funny.

OT: Also, I do think they had one of the most kick ass live concerts ever (yet again, this is before Resistance).

Never really cared for Knights of Cydonia before I heard it live.

They're all right. I have 5 songs from them on my playlist.

For anyone interested, they are:
Uprising
Knights of Cydonia
Supermassive Blackhole
Exo-politics
Starlight
Funnily enough, these are the songs I can remember liking. Most of their other stuff wasn't to my liking.

I quite like them, but I think they're a bit more popular than they should be, all their music is pretty much the same kind of thing, yet for some reason they're more popular than any other main-streamy rock band I can think of.

Muse fir the fucking win! I've loved every single song of their's that I've heard, though my top 3 would probably be Hysteria, Time is running out and Plug-in baby.

Their cover of Feelin' good is awesome as well.

Well I've yet to meet somebody who doesn't like origin of symmetry. I like them but, seriously, everyone likes Muse.

I guess I am a big exception in terms of their fans because I can't fucking stand Radiohead.

I don't hate them, they're just really insignificant to me. I don't really care about them.

I only like one of their songs, however, one of my mates loves them and they inspired him to play drums and he is pretty good.

I completely adored Origin of Symmetry when it came out, and Muse were absolutely my favourite band. I've seen them live two or three times.

But since Origin, their albums have been going gradually downhill imo, to the extent that I only listened to the The Resistance once before shoving it to the very back of my CD collection.

I dunno why I don't like the recent stuff; they're obviously still very popular, and if anything the critics are kinder now than they were back in the day.

But maybe it's that they aren't very heavy any more, and they've traded out the post-grunge guitars for general wackiness

Anyway...

Best Muse Song:
closely followed by:

oh yeah.

I started listening to them around the time Absolution came out. It's one of few CDs I can listen to the entire way through without skipping anything.

Not a fan of their latest album, though.
