Well you obviously play DnD right, So if you can get this guy to make your cake, take ony of your favorite characters you've ever played. Draw up a quick sketch or get someone else to if you dont have to ability to do so and get a cake made out of that. What better cake is there then a fantasy version of yourself?
I don't get what peoples problem with D&D is, at least people are actually socialising rather than screaming down the internet at other people.
Warhammer 40k cake. In the shape of the Imperial Eagle. Men wear Power Armor, the groom wears Terminator armor. The priest can be a Chaplain or techno-priest. Bride's maids are Sisters of Battle, with the bride as some higher ranked sister, or a female Inquisitor.

My husband and I got to know each other over a DnD game, so those elements had to be incorporated. A friend of my Dad's has a relative that was an Ice Sculptor. As a wedding gift, we got a gigantic ice vase in the shape of a dragon. A DRAGON! And it was overflowing with the wedding flowers of white lilies and pink roses. It was awesome!

OT, get the priest to dress as a goblin and re-enect a D&D fight, as in, the bride and groom are the players, and get the maid of honour and the best man to do your rolls for you. LARP-safe swords and armour required. That'd be awesome.
