Curious as to what will happen with the dice. Obviously, they won't break....naturally anyway!

I was wondering what that was...

Oh, that moment when the coconut just hangs in the air, with the "milk" spinning around it is just beautiful.
My thoughts exactly.
Same. Watching the coconut do a flip was awesome.

The dice are going to be interesting... Kinda hard to beat the Crowbar moment though. Probably the funniest single moment ever on the Escapist.

Honestly I can't wait until they film something exploding... with fire and stuff. Firecrackers? That would be awesome.

Ugh...the end song is so familiar. Anybody know what this song is or what game it's from? It would be nice if Daily Drop would put this in the credits.

ALEX... smash???

*cry*

Good music though. The only thing better I could think of would be the "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" song.

That's very nice and all, but why don't you guys start dropping things from a height/at a speed which actually destroys them rather than making them bounce? This was just anti-climactic.

I think this series would be much improved with some clever or funny dialogue from Paul. I originally watched this video because I laughed at the catchphrase for it.

They're all by one artist. I'm guessing someone got the rights to use the songs in the videos.

Are coconuts usually shaped like that. I seem to think they would be, more, uh, rounder.

Also I think I've been watching to much porn, those spurts of liquid reminded me of... well yeah you get it.

Disappointed at the lack of crowbar in this episode. Still, water coconut milk splashing everywhere.
Actually you were right the first time, that is coconut water, not milk. Contrary to what just about any movie or TV show involving a tropical island would have you believe Coconut milk does not occur naturally. Instead it is derived from the coconut 'meat' the same stuff you might find dried and grated atop a number of different desserts.

Coconut water however occurs naturally in immature coconuts (coconuts that have not fully developed their endosperm, or 'meat'). Its sweet, though in my experience it smells better than it tastes. It does not taste like 'coconut' as most people are accustomed to.

Also, this is a husked coconut, which is to say it has had its husk, or coir removed. This is for a number of reasons. One being that for the sake of consumption the husk has no use, making it dead weight for transport. Furthermore the coir is made up of a thick layer of fibers that makes it very difficult to get at the edible portions of the coconut.

Also, for the purposes of dropping for slow-motion destruction the coir would ruin everything. From personal experience I can tell you that 10 foot drops do nothing to it, and a crowbar would only turn it into a dangerous projectile.

I was expecting it to still be in it shell, then we have a failure, the Alex comes in with a big ass mallet and destroys it
