I love the music in this series. And yes, even though Graham says the crowbar is reserved for "special" occasions, this particular occasion sure looked like one of them. That coconut needed to DIE!!

I'm gonna be honest stuff you guys drop doesn't break enough.

I'd like one of several things
1. Higher drop height
2. More force put into it, don't just drop it throw the goddamn thing
3. If all else fails, more crowbar?

Well, I'm a fan in slow motion. It's a good way to emphasize a given action scene, in a movie mostly.

But aren't these short clips becoming kinda.... pointless? Maybe it's just me.
I was kind of thinking that too...seems a little disjointed compared to everything else.

What? No crowbar again. D:

All I could think was "... damn, I'd really like to eat that coconut. What a waste of coconut milk!"

Waste or no waste, I enjoy watching these every (five) day(s).

You're going to need a much higher ladder for these videos to continue to be effective. Most of the tougher items are barely breaking.

I apologize in advance for using a tired meme, but it has to be said here:
Looks like that was... *puts on sunglasses*
A tough nut to crack!
YEEEEEEAAAAH!

Seriously though, that was hankerin' for an application of Alex and his crowbar!

How did you manage to get the husk off that coconut? Must have taken some serious effort!
Placing the coconut in a stable up right position, take a machete and forcefully nick off the outer layer. Spin the coconut repeatedly as you continue this process down the sides untill all the coconut is shelled.

so do you guys record a large amount of the objects at once or do you actually do it daily?

Drop shit from higher up.
To respond to three people who obviously can't read previous days' threads, they rented the (very expensive) high-speed camera and filmed this all during a single week, dropping stuff 14 hours a day, then returned the camera. Therefore, any requests for things dropped or major changes are pointless. The only thing they're doing at this point is editing the footage to get us one drop per day.

That said, several changes I can see have been implemented into the video series. The request for reversal and the periodic change of music come to mind. However, those are simply editing issues that can be done with current footage, and would not require thousands of dollars to re-rent the camera again for new footage.

Weak. I want these dropped items in pieces!

That being said, the milk coming out of the coconut looked great in slow motion.
