That pepper shaker couldn't of been more godlike unless it deflected the crowbar right back at Alex. Now that would be a pepper shaker you wouldn't want to face in a fight. :p

Daily drop is completely awesome, more dropping, smashing, and exploding please!

I wonder if it was the content of the pepper that absorbed the impact from the ground, giving the pepper bottle more strength. Or there could have been microfractures in the salt shaker that made it not stand up as well.

The salt shaker was half empty though, so I figured that having more air in the bottle made the shockwaves disseminate inside the glass instead of being transferred to the substance inside. Makes me wonder if a full salt shaker would have been like the pepper.

No it wasn't. Look again at the shot of Paul holding the shakers, they are both equally full.

So that's what they put in master chief's armour to negate fall damage in H2/3.

Loved the crowbar bit as well.

I'm going to take a guess and assume those shakers are made from tempered glass. You can body slam tempered glass a thousand times, and it probably won't break. But the right amount of pressure in just the right spot can break even this strong glass. As this one man found out, running at full speed, and bouncing off the tempered glass windows of his office at the top of a skyscraper to give his clients a real scare. But one day, well, he won't ever be doing that again.

If it isn't tempered, I honestly can't see how it survived that many drops from that height on such a hard surface.

Funny thing happened this morning: my wake-up alarm on the phone has the same sound as the FAILURE sound in the video (yeah, iPhone and all). So today morning I woke up with it and the first thing that came to my mind were the words CROWBAR READY.

Oh great. Now I have mental pictures of Graham pointing at me with an angry look on his face AND holding a crowbar over his head while giving a battle cry.

I'm going to have nightmares of Graham the psycho crowbar murder trying to kill me. Thanks a lot, Escapist! :(
On the good side: You don't have to. One frame of that video mailed to the canadian police should take care of him. ;-)

what the fuck? This is the daily drop. I'm ashamed to be in the demographic that this is marketed to. I swear, porn has more nutritional value than this crap.

After reviewing the play, my first ruling is overturned. 1st down. After looking at the shots again, I stand corrected, they are equally full, you can see it very clearly in the shot where they are sitting on the ground at the beginning.

I think what threw me was when it cracked, it was on it's side, which made the salt spread out to where it 'looked' like it was less full from that particular angle.
