Speaking of that indie deal, can someone tell me if those game are good?
Yeah, I know it's 5 bucks and all, but I have like 7 euro left on my steam wallet, and I won't be able to add to it for a few weeks at least.

TELL ME DAMNIT!
I've heard good things about And Yet It Moves and Gish, Recettear is excellent and worth the 5 bucks alone, Puzzle Agent is from Telltale who only make quality games and I don't know much about Jolly Rover, but even if that was the worst game on the planet, the other four should make up for it heavily(as you can tell, I want it pretty bad lol)
Yeah, that does sound tempting. Is it on till the end of the sale?

I'm going to wait and see if anything else comes along that I must buy, and get that if I have the dough at the end...
This sale is on for another 18 hours I think

5 dollars, I have to pay 5 Euro for it. Which is more, but it's just the price of a bread, or a cup of coffee.
You seriously mean you can't pay a cup of coffee for it? No trying to be rude, but it's almost nothing to be honest.
No I couldn't really spare the money for a cup of coffee, my car is down to about a quarter tank or less and I think I have about 15 dollars, so everything I have has to be used to fill up so I can make it to and from campus next week.

Wait... You're blaming Steam because you don't have any money? Really?
I'm blaming steam for being so tempting and even though I know it isn't their intention, have a $5 sale that I still can't afford rubs me as almost saying "haha you're poor, look at how cheap this is lol you can't have"

Damn you for being cheap?

If you're so broke you can't take advantage of a $5 deal on something you really want, it's time to start managing your budget or get a better job.
You sure love to kick someone when they're down doncha?

at any rate the only game I would play in that entire pack would be gish, which I have anyway.

I'm an unemployed uni student and so far spent about £15 on the sale and I do not intend to stop. Food can wait.
Wanna be a pal and hook me up? For serious though, how do you afford the games and everyday needs as well, gas for my car eats up everything I get.

Have you tried Recettear? It's surprisingly good, I played the demo when it first came out, it was pretty fun and had quite a bit of humor in it as well, you should check it out if you get the chance

Steam makes me suffer by making me install it when playing Call of Duty. I don't want to run it through Steam.

You run a store and sell stuff, you can negotiate the prices with people to try and rip them off and then you go to the dungeons to try and make more money and get a whole bunch of free items you can then sell and it's all about making a lot of money and paying off your loanshark(or so I gleaned from the demo) I know it looks kinda dumb, anime-ish and girly, but it's really quite fun.

It's not Steam at the moment, but Blizzard is offering the WoW expansions for the total of 15 dollars. But alas, I have no credit card.

Just call a friend/family member/etc and give them the cash for the one-time-use of the card, it's what I do when I need to buy something online

Wow...you're really really broke.

Steam only bugs me by putting something on sale the day after I buy it. Makes me very sad when I buy something for 40 dollars, and the very next day it's only 10 or something.

Normally, my family would be fine with that. However, WoW is basically taboo in my house. I actually had to have a friend buy it with my money, then smuggle it in when he slept over.

I wanna know, indie story pack, yay or nay?
I don't have too much, about 35-40 quid and I wanna wait and see for some good things, or things I especially want, so is this pack good or not?

Wow, I guess you can't pull that same stunt again eh?

From what I see it is VERY good. Gish looks awesome, Recettear is really fun and original. Puzzle Agent is made by TellTale which is nothing but quality and I've heard good things about And Yet it Moves, don't know much about Jolly Rover though or whatever it's called

I could if the bugger hadn't gotten himself grounded for ten weeks...
I could always ask my grandma, and tell her to keep it on the down-low, but she'd probably tell my dad. Ah well, looks like it's time to not eat school lunch and have an income of $2.25 every day.... so after about 3 weeks of school, I'll have enough for The Burning Crusade, and after another 4, enough for Wrath of the Lich King. Cataclysm can go screw itself, I'm not going 11 weeks without lunch.
