Dark Cloud?

I Have fond memorys of this game, Anyone Remember it?... Of course it was filled with hours of dungions (Some Less then Un-Original) I Still fell in love with it ... Who Can rember it if you had played it?

I loved Dark Cloud but even more so Dark Cloud 2 (Dark Chronicle in other parts of the world)

Dark Cloud 2 perfected all the elements from dark cloud 1 and added in some of its own, and perfected them, there was nothing dark cloud 2 did wrong.

I've fond memories of them both.

I spent a year playing that as a kid. Love that game. Wasn't to fond of the sequel.

Did not play the first, but DC2 is one of my most favorite PS2 games ever. I would love a 3rd...

I can somewhat remember playing the first Dark Cloud. Never got around to finishing it or even playing the sequel though.

From what I can remember I thought the game was pretty good.

Never played the original but I loved the hell out of the second one. Except for that golf mini game thing(don't remember the name} those always pissed me off to no end.

I hate that game! My little brother got it the day I got Metal Gear Solid 3. Guess who got to play the PS2? I then had to watch him play for nearly four hours, being asked "Can you do this part?" every ten minutes.

Yay Darkcloud!

One was good, although I liked two better (better plot - the genie thing in the first one never really worked for me). Also, I liked the romance in the second one. ^^

Although the photos/inventing thing could occasionally f- right off. It had its moments, but it led to me trying to take photos in boss fights rather than actually fighting, because I could never get those particular photos ever again. And that is not good game design.

I absolutely love Dark Cloud, played the hell out of it. Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2) I didn't like as much, though I tried really hard to. Designing the towns became so much more complicated and I ended up getting stuck somewhere with no idea how to progress. I really liked the characters of that game though, especially Max.

Wow, I had never heard of this game. After reading about it on Wiki, it sounds AMAZING. I'm going to check it out some more.

I LOVED dark cloud 2. Mostly because I was actually able to complete it. You see, when we got Dark cloud, I was really young. The game didnt make any sense. I made it up to the part where you fight the pirates and was done. Then, we got Dark Cloud 2 and i was like "OMG :O I understand it perfectly" and played it till it was dead. Seriously, my ps2 died right as I was in the middle of Griffon's palace. I was so mad.

I never got to play the second one but the first dark cloud was one of the very first rpg's I've ever played. Its what really got me into the genre.

I love these games. I REALLY hope that we'll see a third. Or at least HD versions of 1 & 2 on the PS3

Dark Cloud was awesome, though I got to the end and was never able to beat the boss. I think I spent too much time Upgrading Toan and nobody else. =P

I didn't get very far in Dark Cloud 2, but I'll have to agree with you on that. They really did improve everything, in my opinion.

I didn't get very far in Dark Cloud 2, but I'll have to agree with you on that. They really did improve everything, in my opinion.

I really only upgraded Toan and Ruby as those were the only ones that needed upgrading to beat the game.

It was called Spheda, it was a good minigame once you got the hang of it, that said on certain areas (SEWERS!) it was infuriatingly difficult at times.
