This was possible for a large part of the game in the original dark souls

( sorry for no direct link youtube blocked in work )

on difficulty i don't want it to change but if its slightly easier ( and i mean only slightly ) and we get some quality of life changes, better interface better binding of consumables ect being able to use all your "souls of the xxx " in the inventory and not having to equip them i would accept it.

This can and is done in Dark Souls all of the time. It is part of the fun, figuring out ways to beat enemies that are way harder than you. Seems like they are going to keep the skill aspect in tact.

Anybody who complains about this is a moron. Dark Souls could be beat at level one with your starting broken sword if you were good enough. They have always been that way and this does not change that. Skill has always been much much more important then your gear or levels.
Pretty much has nothing to do with how intelligent somebody is. Of course it's impossible to call anybody a moron if they think differently about this. People play through a game like Dark Souls, hell of a lot different than most other games. For some, they might just follow the rules to a t. Really nervous player who can't stand the idea of dying, may never take risks in the game. I think you know what I mean. There going to play the game in the order that makes the most sense to them. I am sure there are countless players that know you can do this, never tried. Of course I had to say something because I love when people use the word moron. Never used to actually judge intelligence, we just swing around for everything.

That's exciting to hear. I wish more games did this in general. Not saying it has to be shoehorned in but rewarding skill, and by that I mean, rewarding varying degrees of skill only adds to the strength of a game's ability to entertain.
