Darksiders and Bayonetta

I know "versus thread! Go away noob!" but this is a serious question. And I'm not a noob so at least read what I have to say.

I had planned on buying both of these games today, but after looking at some reviews of Darksiders, I'm not so sure.

The main complaints I heard was that its short and has a completely ridiculous story, but most reviewers give it 10/10 or 8+ but story and the length of the game are two major factors for me when I play.

So should I get this along with Bayonetta or wait until something else comes out?

I got darksiders and so far Im enjoying the story, granted Im still pretty close to the start tho. Darksiders is supposed to be between 20 and 30 hours long.

darksiders isnt an fps and bayonetta isnt a rpg
darksiders is more akin to zelda and bayonetta is more like devil may cry mixed with some god of war... actualy both of them have some god of war in them

Seeing as I'm strictly single player, MAG is out

But White Knight Chronicles looks awesome.

I am getting both. They have both gotten good reviews. They will obviously appeal to the DMC and GoW fans, and I love both of those, so yeah! As to Darksiders, I've heard it is around 20 hours and that sounds pretty good to me. And it is hard to judge story from reviews as so many people like different things, so if you want to wait a little while, I'm sure this group (including myself since I am getting it) will let you know in a day or so.

Already pre-ordered Bayonetta, but I might pick up Darksiders later on when the price has gone down a bit. EDGE magazine gave Bayonetta a 10, which is crazy.

uhh... I wasnt talking about the game genres and what they are. He was asking that if he should get it along with bayonetta. I said he shouldnt and should get those. I dont know how you came with that response.

I'm getting Bayonetta for the PS3 and Darksiders for the 360. I really haven't read up too much on either so I'll find out about them when I buy them.

Apparently the PS3 version of Bayonetta is terrible. Lots of slowdown, and it doesn't look anywhere near as good as the 360 version:

1. WKC is going to be awesome
2. Dante's Inferno doesn't come out till February. I'm only referring to now. I'm definately picking up Dante's Inferno.
3. I only have PS3 and the only place I've heard anything about lag is on IGN and they're a bunch of biased cunts who need to die from Super AIDS
