Here's the only sure-fire, 100% success rate way to get any girl you want: Be Me.
I'm afraid there's no hope for those who aren't. ;)
Yes, that's quite agreeable. Being me is quite successful in the art of courtship.

Learn an instrument. That being said, the Electric guitar and the electric piano are pretty much the swiss army knives of the music industry. It'll help you along and is incredibly rewarding in itself.

Learn to talk to people and keep trying. Seriously, it takes both time and luck to meet someone that's right for you.
Smell good. I'd say lose the cologne. Some girls really loathe it, and you won't lose points for not using it. Are there people who don't use deodorant? :/

I actually have a girlfriend (Shock and awe all around) and we've even had sex (Even more shock and awe), and in terms of advice I have to say you should go with what your gut says. I met this girl at work and slowly developed feelings for her, and eventually I told her that I loved her. We became friends after that, and eventually she asked if I wanted to be her boyfriend. No dates or anything like that beforehand, just a bit of conversation every time I worked with her.

I don't know how relationships usually start because this is my first, but I can tell you that sometimes just doing what feels right is the best thing to do.

Because people learn to play three of the most repetitive songs ever and they think they're amazing. And, people who learn on an electric piano have inferior techinique and musicality as opposed to those who play a real piano.

You are talking about electric keyboards then? Because the proper electric piano's, they have some good sounds, and still require you to have the feel for the instrument.
