It would be neat if Leto's Joker escapes at the end of Suicide Squad but is confronted and killed by the proper Joker.
So, Mark Hamill will get a cameo?

:p
Mark Hamill is the Trickster in live action DC, I'm afraid.

Doesn't matter. In their infinite wisdom WB/DC says that TV and movie universes are completely separate. Actually if that does give us Hamill as the live action Joker then maybe that will be the first smart thing they've done so far.
I know TV and movie DC are different, but the guy has played Tricker on TWO TV shows. Certainly casting him as a movie Joker would be beyond even the dumbest WB executive?

And yes, I realize how dumb that question is. I'd just prefer he stay as the Trickster, especially since it's who he played in the new The Flash show, which is basically the only shinning light in DC at the moment.

Yeah.... I don't even think that would make the top 10 of the dumbest DCEU executive decisions.

Except Jason Todd being killed by the Joker and coming back to life to try to kill the Joker is absolutely in the comics. It wouldn't be a big stretch to have him become the new Joker after killing him, since he came back as a villain with some serious mental issues. Makes as much sense as Lex Jr.

However was there ever really debate as to who the dead Robin was? I thought that was a foregone conclusion.
Also worth noting Todd came back as the Red Hood, an alias previously used by the Joker. It's not exactly the same, but it's not like it's completely without precedent.
Yeah, leave it to Goyer and Snyder to kill off the main villains of both Superman AND Batman off screen before the DCEU even begins. Sounds about par for the course.

Actually Batman and Superman are about 50/50 when they fight, and while TDKR is somewhat overrated I would have been much happier if they had stuck closer to that story rather than ending up with the.... thing they did.
Are you sure about that? My count was Superman had a pretty heavy lead over Batman, and most of Batman's wins were getting the fight to STOP, not getting Superman to concede the fight or stop fighting because he couldn't.
It's hard to really get a fair sample because a) one or both are usually not actually trying to kill the other, and b) it all depends of the writer, who's book it is, and who is in the right. But here's a run down of a bunch of them: http://screenrant.com/best-batman-vs-superman-fights-dc-comic-books/?view=all

And to be fair, when Superman wins, he usually wins much more decisively.
Plus two of those are from the Dark Knight Returns and Strikes Again. I personally think nothing Frank Miller writes should count because he HATES Superman and those fights had him use a lot of outside help, especially Strikes Again.

In fact...almost all of those are non-canon. I'm referring to in-canon works. Hush was the only one I think isn't an elseworld story in there.

Thank GOD its Jason. Now we can put the "Joker is Jason Todd" thing to rest.

Unless WB really wants to fuck with us...

Batman rule #1: It was Jason Todd.
Batman rule #2: It's Jason Todd.
Batman rule #3: It will be Jason Todd.

My favorite part about this article is this line right here

Winner: Superman wins but Batman learns the value of communication.

I got a hearty chuckle from this. Makes it sound like the two had a tussle and ended up with detention and Batman got a stern talking to from Alfred after school.
