The first Dead Space was amazing. A fresh take on the survial horror genre and pretty much the perfect evolution of the "action horror" formula created by Resident Evil 4. .
I swear, I feel like such a dick for saying this but I didn't like Dead Space at all. It might have been the developer diaries where the developer guy went on and on about dismemberment, and how he and his buddy used to make Disney games/children games or whatever it was but now they got some cash from big daddy EA. Or maybe it was all the over used cliches found in EVERY.PREVIOUS.SURVIVAL.GAME.EVER. From the

hey-welcome-dock-over-the....oh-shit-something-went-wrong-ok-you-are-stranded-and-there-are-some-weird-shit-going-on-here-please-dont-get -killed-meet-me-over-there-later-but-get-some-keycards-and-all-the-other-shit-you-always-are-forced-to-do

to the audio logs from system Shock and Doom3 and your grannie's written diaries. It didnt how much I tried I was never scared and never frightened. I mean its impossible to get scared when all you can think of is I have played these games before.

I actually think the way they've implemented coop into this game sounds pretty cool.

As for any other gripes, I'll just have to wait and see. It might be good. It's too soon for me to judge.

I was thinking of mabye buying the new Dead Space as I've never really played one. Now I'm not sure. Im not going to make the decision until I see some real gameplay, but if it goes down THIS route I will get very angry and throw rocks at those who dare to blaspheme and speak the name EA aloud

Oh, please. It was inevitable that the unitologists were going to get up his ass at some point for mucking up all their plans regarding the marker(s). Yes you will be fighting SOME human opponents in Dead Space 3, but thbey are by no means the true threat in any way. NEcromorphs will aways be where its at and I have to say I am actually looking forward to continuing the story and taking on some Necromorphs with some new weapon made via Isaacs Engineering skills.

I mean really when people found out a resident evil game wasnt going to run off 1990's tank control they thought the series was screwed and it ended up being one of the most accepted and well liked resident evil games.

What I am trying to get at is that before you freak out and assume they are destroying your game wait for some more information on the thing.

So when you put the game on easy and blasted your way through, is that what your basing it off of? See when you put Dead Space on anything but normal, it becomes one of the harder Survival horror games to beat. See when I mention this, people always roll their eyes and go you shouldnt't have to. Thats when I go, well they have a difficulty setting and if you want the experience, put it on a harder difficulty and stop bitching.
you are kidding me, right? dead space 1 AND 2 were two of the easiest games ive ever played. when you beat a game using the starting weapon with only 4 deaths on the hardest difficulty, theres something wrong.
So when you stop lying, and tell me you died way more than that because everybody I have talked to(I know alot of people that have played Dead Space) they had a hella of a time. So when your ready, I will be waiting.
i refuse to admit to something that is not true! just because people you know had a hard time, dosent mean i had a hard time. dont base me off of your people, when you dont even know me. and i was not talking about the hardcore, i was talking about the hardest difficulty that isnt unfair[only three saves], which was zealot i think.
