Dead Space: Extraction not looking pretty

There have been some new images on the Wii game Dead Space: Extraction. As the title suggest, it's not looking very pretty. I fact, it's very ugly. Here are some pictures:

Why is it this way? There are games with much better games on Wii, even Metroid Prime had better graphics than this. I know that the Wii has limitations, but this is just silly.

Hmm it's a shame because (shoot me now) i thought that dead space was pretty good. It's a shame not only by the crappy graphics, but also because it's for the wii. I'm not a wii troll, just i personally see no allure for them. Then again it's also a rail shooter which i hate equally. but that's just me

I thought the graphics would be way better than this after watching the demo. I hope there won't be any unpleasant surprises like this for Silent Hill Shattered Memories

I haven't looked at the description yet, but it's a Wii sequel...or siiquel... to a good horror game. Is it a rail shooter?

yeah it's a rail shooter and a prequal to a game on another console. its like putting a freshwater fish in salt water, its not meant to be there. i predict its going to go like GTA chinatown wars and Madworld as it seems evident that wii owners are too casual and healthy to want to play a horror game filled with gore.

Yeah, but there were still last-gen games with much better graphics. Look at Metroid Prime. That was a beautiful Gamecube game.

eh, developers just seem to think that they don't need to push the hardware of the Wii these days cause it has a reputation as being the console which can't help but have crap graphics, which simply isn't true... technically, it is actually more powerful than the original Xbox, a console which was infact very powerful at the time - if the Xbox can easily surpass those sorts of graphics, then why can't the Wii?

Just because it's on the Wii is not an excuse to have graphics that are this bad. This game looks as good as Geist, and that was a sub-par Gamecube game.

also it doesn't help that it's an EA game, there games rarely look good.

they probably arnt, this is probably to cash in and then Fund that second sequel and movie they have cooking

Because the Wii's standards for FPS games are so low that this will actually work. There's no way in hell that the developers could get away with making a game with these kind of graphics on any other console.
