...the fact that Game doesn't know how to business.
I couldn't help but laugh a little at that, but not at you. Like when I played Halo 3 with a friend and he said "How to sprint?"

OT: GAME Aus is a pretty decent, but not altogether better, alternative to EB Games Australia. Smart people tend to just go to Gametraders.
The fact that GAME Aus is still stocking Mass Effect 3 is a fucking relief. Otherwise, I'd be feeling your pain, OP.

I'm getting pretty pissed at GAME right now, I'm happy they're still stocking unknown titles like Catherine, Binary Domain and even Touch My Katamari and I won't miss many Ubisoft or EA titles but missing out on Mass Effect is something I can't do and frankly HMV can have my money, I just hope they don't seize the opportunity and raise the price

Mass Effect 3 is a EA title, thats what it comes down to they couldnt come to an agreement on credit terms. Game is probably not long for this world unless theres a buyout or something similar, which is sad since where i live there is 2 Games and 1 Gamestation (owned by Game) so those 3 stores would dissapear :(
do you both live in Bradford? >.>
that's the exact situation here...

I can't believe this is happening to GAME... it's practically the only game shop in the UK (I suppose there's a granger games in the next city... but they're seriously tiny) ...how can they not have any money? what's gone so wrong?

EA AND Nintendo aswell? that's a HUGE gap, particularly Nintendo... were gonna end up with no game shops before long, or worse, Gamestops :/

Ok, there's two scenarios here, one where they are at fault, and one where you're at fault.

scenario 1. You pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 ages ago, and they tell you not that they can't supply it - your outrage is justified, they are in the wrong, you should get a refund and go try pre-ordering it from another store (if possible, might have to be the second or even third batch at most).

scenario 2. You went to pre-order it, like, within the last 4-6 weeks, and they said 'yeah, we won't have it for ages' which you took to mean they'll never have it - your outrage is completely unjustified, early bird gets the worm and you weren't early enough, again, try another store, possible a GAME store because you've got GAME money (it seems), and get in on the second or third batches.
You obviously know fuck all about the situation, so you should try doing some research on the subject before arguing about it. It's not just my local store that ran out of copies, every Game store will not be stocking ANY copies of Mass Effect 3.
You've been reported for the hostility, but I'll none the less see past that.

I know 'what I know' about the situation based on the information provided to me in the OP, hence why I tried to determine if you were in scenario 1 or 2, it seems you're more in scenario 1, so basically you should get a refund for your deposit, since GAME won't be getting the game in time for the launch date, or possibly you'll be able to get a discount for the game if it is coming later, only GAME could tell you this obviously.

Alternatively, there are plenty of online stores, so it's almost certain that one of them will be able to give you the main game even if it isn't the collectors edition.
