California's legislature was so worried about terrorists they banned .50 caliber rifles despite the fact they start at $3000.

its not so much a stupid law as one that makes sence when you think about it, a quality (non chinese) .50c rifle is expensive, and the effort to maintain such a rifle would probably cause more murders then it would deter, while a Dillan Minigun/Vulcan Cannon costs what? $100 each second fired? really, unless you need to blow up a compact car you tried to turn into a submersible, you dont need it. you dont them

the city i live in has an antiquated law that says its illegal to walk an elephant on a sidewalk.

because the concrete the elephant is walking on would colapse, not a stupid law, it makes sence because the pavement would have to be constantly replaced

I have just find some interesting funny laws of different states. These laws are.


1. Dogs may not bark after 6pm.
2. No vehicle without a driver may exceed 60 miles per hour.
3. It is unlawful to walk backwards after sunset.
4. It is considered an offense to shower naked.
