Have you ever been playing a demo having SO much fun
Then remember "oh yeah its a demo" and you remember its gonna end soon
For me it was (just recently actually) Men of war demo
I had just destroyed a German convoy (did i spell that right?) And i knew the demo would end soon ANYWAY what made it more fun was i had a heavy tank and an artillery gun and the convoy was a bunch of light tanks and trucks... half a forest burned and there was a pile of rubble!
ANYWAY! what demo you didnt want to end because it was so fun!

Just Cause 2 Had the best demo of all time. You could actually play it for hours.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

The demo for that game was unbelievably fun. It gave you a rickety and trap ridden platform above a chasm, filled it with orcs, and then let you go nuts. I played that demo far too many times simply because every play let me set up my kills in new and hilarious ways.

Unfortunately the rest of the game was just "ok". If I wanted to play it again, I'd just install the demo!

Bioshock. Just... Bioshock.

I downloaded it for kicks (since I don't usually care for FPSs), played it... and half an hour later, was at my local Gamestop pre-ordering it.

Played that demo 5 more times before I finally got the retail version.

Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. I spent a LOT of time playing it. I even used cheat codes to spawn a bunch of the enemies that weren't in the demo and battle them.

Brutal Legend. I know everyone says the demo only showcased the best part of the game, but I still couldn't get enough of it. I played the demo from start to finish like 4 times. And really if I ever see it at my local retailer I'll probably pick it up.

When I first got a hold of that Caesar 3 demo way back when... God, I played it every day for hours. Now that I have that old gem, I find it impossible to beat completely.

Oh hell yes. I was absolutely spellbound by that demo. I must have played it hundreds of times.

I went out and got the retail version soon after, and I didn't regret it in the slightest. It's still one of my top favorite Star Wars games of all time.

Resident Evil 2 in 1997 the 10 minute demo was awesome it cuts out the cut scenes and there's a 10 minute timer on the screen and I was really into the George Romero zombie movies at the time so running through a destroyed city filled with zombies was so cinematic and I would try to get further each time.

Serious kudos for this! I love it when people reference old games that I love but I'm pretty sure no-one else has ever played (thats irrational I know, but I sometimes feel like the only games my friends have played are CoD, Halo and Super Mario Galaxy. Yeah, they kinda suck when it comes to discovering those little diamonds in the rough that are far better than most "mainstream" games.)
