i think that both parties have their faults. Microsoft should have a policy on sexual orientation harassment, and his suggestion was a good one. That said, it would require MS to change their policy, and being the lazy people they are, such an expectation for them should never have existed. And come on now, 45k pounds over hurt feelings? 1. I have several pieces of Microsoft hardware, they work great and are well designed. Again, there are defective units for just about every brand of every piece of hardware out there. It's utterly stupid to assume that everything they produce is garbage based on one failing device or hearsay of failing devices (I'm willing to bet that everything you're saying is based on hearsay).
2. As a customer, Microsoft has never treated me badly nor anyone else I know. That's not to say they haven't done so, but your idiotic blanket statement is wrong and I'm proof of that.
3. And their employees? Don't make me laugh. I know several Microsoft employees. They love working there and they're treated very well. Hell I wish I were employed by them.

Speaking of idiots... The number of IDIOTS on here who just assume that this is all truth and don't seem to realize it's his word against theirs is really staggering.

There are some suspect things about this mans claims. As others have said, financial compensation should be the least of his concerns. Secondly... 11... fucking.... years and he didn't do something about it? Oh come on now. And this "They hurt my feelingz :`(" nonsense? Wow... I mean really... WOOOW. I should go back and hunt down all the asswipes in highschool who tortured me because of being a nerd... after all, that's what I am, that's who I am and I can't (and don't want to) change that. I should sue them back to the stone age... Mind you I didn't put up with it for 11 years, I actually grew a pair and dealt with it because I'd had enough. Now if this does turn out to be true, which it could, then that's fine. Microsoft (more to the point, Lionhead) should be slapped down for it. Hard. They should be punished just like any other company that allows discrimination of their workers.

Someone said that this guy is setting back the gay rights movement. Well, if these accusations are indeed true, then obviously that's not the case. However, if it's fiction and/or a cash grab, then yes, most certainly this idiot is doing just that. In either case, there's nothing except some story on the web (which we all know is THE PINNACLE OF TRUTH!!)

My Xbox died on me twice, they kicked me off Live for not renewing immediately because i have better things to do than listen to angry 13 year olds rant and spawn camp me, I have been told by actual Microsoft employees that they actually do program their OS to create errors over time to force people to upgrade to newer OS's, the Zune (need I say more), how many times have your pc's shit the bed on you, red ring of death anyone.
