'Tis a rather fun game, but I think I prefer Dungeon Crawl a bit more. It just feels more personal.

I won't argue that. Played the Wu-Tang roguelike by any chance? It's as ridiculous as it sounds, but it's a 100% serious roguelike, but a great indie developer. Created the masterpiece that is Charles Barkley: Shut up and Jam: Gaiden.
