Wow, I've spent far too much time in arcades, that seemed almost..... Reasonable.

Actually, I think I would take this over Ninja Theory's version any day of the week. This looks entertaining.

This looks more like Resident Evil 5: The Movie.

No, wait! I'm not being racist! Think about it! D8

Anyway, it made me laugh, but I don't know if I should chuckle at its nonsense or be slightly offended about the fact that one of my favorite series just got raped. Yet again (I'm looking at you, NT).

By the way, yes, I'm gonna play DmC. I just hate to see cool, ol' Dante looking all emo. But I also wanna play the game to see if it compensates for that.

So even though Ninja Theory have declared they are taking the series in a different direction it still hurts that much? Something as little as changing the appearance of a character means you rate it lower than this minute video.

Would it have helped if he wasn't called Dante?

This...I think I'd get more enjoyment out of this horrible movie than I would out of a horrible game that rapes the original franchise.
You haven't even played the game...

I find such random hate so amusing, nose put out of place so much by a character facelift.

Regarding the trailer: $100 budget movies are always good for a laugh.
Huh, you've got me there, to be honest most of the change to his style doesn't bother me that me, mainly its his hair.

As for how much I'd care if it wasn't Dante I'm not sure, I don't know how much attention I'd even give the game were it not for the fact it was a Devil May Cry game.

I'd also like to point out the only reason I'm interested in the movie is that it looks so bad and goofy that it is good, I wouldn't be so positive about it were it not for the comedic tone, if it looked just bad bad I wouldn't have posted my initial comment
Where you are correct that I haven't played the game the "facelift" aint the problem (seriously are you that dense to think people are upset over his look? By chance is your name Tameem?) My problem is they've changed the story, attitude and feeling of DMC. DMC 1-4 trailers never had me feel like the game was going be a slow and lame hack n slash with a love story tie-in. They could give him blue hair for all I care aslong as he retains the badass, humorous, egotistical bastard that he is. Sorry Dante was never part angel >.>

The game has a 99% chance of sucking balls, with a 1% of being so bad its funny and worth the 1$ rent.

No, this looks HILARIOUSLY bad in the same way Devil or The Happening were. NT's narcissistic piece of junk on the other hand just looks bad in the traditional sense.

I usually like to think I have some sort of decent response to most things, but to this I only have three words. What. The. Fuck?

YES. You have figured out the biggest problem in Ninja theory's game, since he looks and acts nothing like him it would be a big improvement if he wasn't called Dante, people would probably be interested, just like people wouldn't hate Other M (as much) if the main character wasn't Samus.

OT: After watching the trailer, Ninja Theory's game still seems awful.

I dunno, I don't think it would've mattered if it were Samus or not. Sure, there would've been less hate. But still, that voice actress could've put you to sleep.

Funny since recently Korey and Co-Host from Spill.com talked about the movie 2016 which is also from Ghana as well.

The DMC movie trailer is no exception to the unintentionally WTF funny movies that Ghana has to offer. Makes me want to watch it on that basis alone.
Best part is when the baby gets kicked like a football.

...My response is multiple choice:

If anyone else saw anything else similar to what I saw then: Ninja Theory's take still looks like shit, but it's something that exists both on the fringe of the franchise and within the realm of sanity.
If nobody else saw the same thing (which I know probably isn't the case, but it's physically painful to accept the possibility of what I saw being real) then: What the hell did I just drink a few minutes ago?! I seriously thought that was just a cup of milk. Did it expire... into LSD? I didn't think that was possible, but I also didn't think something like that could be a movie (even one about Devil May Cry).

I'm not going to bee TOO optimistic, but if ANYONE knows if this movie even exists and that there's a way (ANY WAY) of getting it, PLEASE post it here.

I NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!
