A Mirror's Edge 2 would be nice. Maybe have a more open world? More routes to take during Story Missions and maybe just a large city hub to run around and parkour through?
Multiplayer mirror's edge, with a fully fleshed out and "parkourable" city that's at least half the size of the island in Just Cause 2. You don't need a main storyline or even missions. Just give us the city and the multiplayer (and possibly the ability to create our own runners) and perhaps even the police. We'll make our own fun.
Really, DICE, that's all you need to do, and you'll earn my money at least!
OT: I can't wait! I loved the first mirror's edge, it was beautiful both from an aesthetics standpoint and a gameplay standpoint. It DESERVES a sequel.
EDIT: And perhaps a day and night cycle for the city. As beautiful as it looks at day, it would probably look awe inspiring at night or sunset.
Well we know it'll have multiplayer, if it gets made, because EA won't allow anything else. They've said so. Kinda why I'm not jumping for joy even though I loved the first one. I'm troubled by what EA might demand of DICE and the game.
I`m looking forward to it. I got the first out of the bargain bin and it`s fun and different. At first i wasn`t sure about the trial and error gameplay but after getting into the controls even the speed challenges are fun.

Ah, i'd love to see a sequel of Mirrors Edge. But i have to admit that it's not really the gameplay or even the story that i like all that much. I just want to see more of the world the game is set in. The Artdesign is just all sorts of insane.
Welp, as far as multiplayer goes this IS EA we're talking about here. So ya know it's gonna get it, question being if it's a tacked on *Oh cause we gotta* Or a *This should be a fun and totally separate gaming experience* ALA HL2, which came with Deathmatch VS the single player.
I'm kinda 50-50... ok.. 60-40... none of you believe me... ALRIGHT I'm 80-20 torn on really wishing this is gonna be good. But with the state of BF3, EAs recent decisions regarding just about anything, and the current state of my wallet. I just can't seam to be bothered to care really.

I really, really want to like Mirror's Edge. I love the setting, I really really love Solar Fields in the soundtrack.. but the game is so flawed. The insistence on combat sucks, it is broken. The platforming is not consistent either, there are times where you try to jump onto something using a technique you *just* did and it doesn't work.
I ended up raging halfway through because of the "combat". Still haven't completed the game.
I'll have a bit more faith in what he's saying when I see trailers, with gameplay etc, not just saying it exists, because I'm pretty sure they've been saying that basically since the first one was released.
And since I felt the need to put in Faith, I suppose I deserve this
