I consider it, but i live in US so i thought it would be out of place for me to do so. And I'm much more articulate in person than in writing, its kinda annoying when i cant write out intelligently what I'm thinking.

Nope. As a U.S. citizen I really have no right interfering with foreign politics. My sympathies do go out to our Australian brethren and hope they can settle the issue.

I didn't, as I know that all attempts to be civil would eventually just become "Stop being pants-on-head retarded." Plus, he might notice I was from the US, as I would use my school email as opposed to my aol email to make it look a little more serious, and would just toss it.

I did a long, long time ago. He probably ignored it since I an American. I don't really blame him if he did; I could care less what some foreigner thinks of me.

I didn't. Mainly because I don't live in Australia so I have no point of worrying about it. Plus, my opinon would just be one of many others and proably won't make a diffrence.

Why waste my breath on a man who has already made his decision.

Well done sir.

For you who say it doesn't matter because you're not Australian, that may be true.

I'm Canadian, and I wrote him anyways. We can't ignore issues in other countries. This could creep into our countries as well, which would really suck. Things like this need to be stopped at the source.

Nope, as much as I support that Australians deserve to play any game that is released without censorship or banning the game, I know my email won't contribute anything.

That is why I shall never vote either.

Dear Mr. Atkinson,

I respect your right to have an opinion, but not your right to impose it on others. The "vocal minority" is telling you to SUCK IT.
Words cannot describe how much I love that :p

OT: No, I really don't feel like it.

I would have if my e-mail wasn't broken.

I can receive (cue Hotel California!) but for some reason, cannot send.

I didn't and here's why: A very popular website's most famous celebrity with a huuuge following left an internationally hated person's e-mail address with vague instructions to send a polite message or two. His inbox probably got flooded worse than New Orleans (too soon?) so another raindrop wouldn't really make a difference; especially not if he just clicked [small]SELECT ALL + DELETE[/small].

EDIT: I might send him an e-mail a month from now just to show him that this wasn't a flash-flood (I'll stop with the water metaphors now).

I wish to, but I don't even speak english. Well trained monkeys do all work for me. Atkinson won't listen to the monkeys...
Australians, I wish you good fortune in this case. May Force be with all of you (and God bless my dear country, where politicians don't give a shit about videogames...)

This will only make him think gamers are an unstable, antisocial bunch who are affected negatively by mature games.
As everything else, I guess... Looks like this dude lives on his wave. If you send him a threat - you are nothing more, than a violent dick, raised by violent and pointless games. If you send a well thought-out message - you are nerdish maggot, good for nothing, but violent game discussion. If you send a polite message - you're just a fagot. And it's all games fault.
Who wants to do - looks for the way to do, who don't - looks for the reason why...
And it seems like it's his job - finding the reasons. Or, maybe, he just one of this weird people, who loves very idea of prohibition - "I said NO, I'm invincible!". Or maybe not. But, anyway, who cares, what gamers think if "it's all for their sake"?

No. Why would he give a two hoots about what a 15-year old English child thinks?
The whole-not caring thing probably applies to most of the Internet, for him. If he clearly doesn't give a shit about videogames, or understand the difference between 'mature' and 'designed to rape the minds of children', why would he be affected by a few emails?
