So, objectively speaking, here are how things are:
PlayStation 4
*Similar (reportedly better?)hardware to Xbox One
$399
-Not Backwards Compatible
Xbox One
*Similar (reportedly better through cloud computing?) hardware to PS4
$499
-Not Backwards Compatible
-Has to have constant internet connection or disables ability to play games
-Stipulations and fees attached to loaning and using used games.
My thoughts:
After reeling back at the first presentation of the PS4, I thought I'd be going with Microsoft this round. Then, of course, [small]we know what happened[/small]. However, now things are worse! Sony and Microsoft have had their time at E3, a time Microsoft was supposed to be spending repairing damage and WOW; talk about a backfire! Sony smelled blood, and swooped in for the biggest attack I've ever seen in video game history. I got to say, they looked pretty appealing while doing it, to. So it's settled then, I am getting a PS4 to compliment my wiiU this gen.
Did E3 change or confirm any of your thoughts?
