Did you see Scott Pilgrim?

I'll rent it because I didn't feel like spending enormous amounts of money on movie theater prices. The theater experience has become more expensive than I'd like and the budget theaters in town have all closed down. Oh well.

The book the game and the movie were all great.

I read the comics and watched it. I really liked it and Michael Cera did a really good job. My favourite bit was mecha scott.

There was no mecha Scott only a nega-Scott.

I saw it in theaters, and I thought it was a decent but ultimately disappointing movie. I'd still like to read the books, but I don't know why I'd ever search out the movie again.

So, did you see Scott Pilgrim vs The World, pirated or in theaters?
I did.
If you didn't, why not? Was it because of the Expendables? Or maybe because it had Michael Cera in it?
Most of the people who didn't see it that i've talked to fall into those two categories.

I never went to see it. I refuse to watch a movie in which Michael Cera is the lead (except Superbad, which had enough decent talent to dilute Cera's suck). Also, I didn't even know there was a Scott Pilgrim comic until after the movie came out, and to be honest, I'd have wanted to see the movie even less had I read the comic beforehand.

I watched it a tiny cinema with constant buzzing coming from speakers LOVED THE FILM unfortunately I had to watch it with my dad who constantly complained about the film and fell asleep and snored rather loudly I was like this >////< throughout film but I still very much enjoyed! It's my new favourite!!!

Yep, saw it twice in theaters and plan to buy the DVD. I have the game, too. For some reason, though, the art style of the comic just makes my head hurt, so I haven't read it. I realize the game uses the same art, but it's pixel art, as opposed to line art, and that makes all the difference.
