Did you sleep well last night?

Fairly straightforward question really. Most of it is in the subject;

Did you, or did you not, sleep well last night?

We can elaborate a little bit, if the Escapists are up for it though:

Do you always get a good nights sleep, or are you an insomniac?
If you didn't sleep well then what was the cause?
[sub]Bedbugs bite you? Thoughts whirring? Too hot? Too cold? You name it![/sub]

Oh and I nearly forgot, just to start it out, I slept like a stone last night though only for 4 hours before I had to get up again. The dangers of browsing the Escapist has kept me up, many a night!

No, I had terrible sleep, mostly due to chronic insomnia and a cold I've had for a couple days.

Well, last night I slept great. I'm not an insomniac.
The night before that was terrible...
I didn't eat anything, my parents were out of town, so I threw a party.
I hit the booze a little too fast and went to bed at around 7 am... =P
Almost threw up!

I had an awful headache last night and no Panadol left, so I took a couple of Phenergan (allergy medication) to make me drowsy. Slept like a rock.

No. I can hardly sleep nowadays. There is a lamppost shining brightly in my face where I sleep. Even with the thin curtains closed I still get bugged about it. I can't avoid it. If I turn the head of my bead the other way I will look at TWO posts!

Also, if I leave the window open I hear an old lady calling her cat. HER CAT! Do you know how well cats listen? HARDLY!

Stupid owls, crickets, bats (yes, BATS! I hear bats!) and if they don't annoy me, rain. |-( Soothing sometimes... but it's still noise.

And in the morning? Kids... I can't rest in the morning even if I don't have to do anything that day because kids like to play outside.

...I need to get more sleep I suppose.

Holy shit mate, can't you put some soothing music on an iPod and then fall asleep listening to that?

I had a pretty good night's sleep. Actually, every night, I sleep well. The problem is when I have to wake up. Fortunately, it's the school holidays now, so fuck waking up.

Was a bit cold, though. It's consistently 14-15 degrees in my room, which is kind of the temperature it is outside. So I cuddled my plushie Charizard and spent a few minutes wondering why I was still single.

It's still sound. I think a lot at night. I was thinking about taking ear plugs to block off all the sound.

Nah, I could hardly sleep at all. I think it's because my holiday nearing to and end and all the stress I get from struggling with the red tape at the university. Or maybe because I played Amnesia: Dark Descent.

Allright I think. I can't be bothered staying up to 3 in the morning much anymore because I can't find enough things to do. If I have a new game or rented a movie sure, but not if it is just another night.

nah, it was a shite nights sleep, compounded by the fact I had to get up early (for me) to take my car to the garage.

I stayed up till about 3 because I'd had a massive Chinese and didnt feel like lying down, then the farmers took the calfs away from the mother cows in the daytime, so the whole night long the cows were bellowing and making noise calling for their calves.

Cows are fucking loud.

I always get a great nights sleep. Sleep of the righteous, etc. It doesn't matter what I'm doing or how stressful life is, nothing gets between me and sleep. My current sleeping pattern, however, has gone to shit.

I hardly slept. Woke up, got on the escapist, drifted off. Woke up again, got on here, drifted off again. A vicious circle.

Nope, took a two hour power nap in a break from working on an assignment. I always forget I don't work well on less than six hours sleep until I try it. Bad idea.
