I'm red/green colour-blind. That includes variations of those colours. In some games, that proves to be quite the bother.

In Bioshock 2, a game that I'm in love with, hacking is a chore for me. I can never tell where the red ends, and the green begins, so I usually have to have my girlfriend point those areas out to me.

Have you encountered any similar problems in your video game experiences?

Until I got glasses, I couldn't read most of the text in current gen console games like Assassin's Creed 2. I think it's more due to my TV that I still have trouble. I haven't checked, maybe there's a way to increase the font size.

Not me personally, but there's a person I've met who has one hand and one stump. and he kicks ASS at Counter Strike. He could pwn about 80% of the people on this site.

I've got ADHD. It's not a problem. Not a problem gaming-wise.

Absolute lack of concentration, discipline and order is IRL, though. If I were to have a nickname, it should be the prince of chaos.

First, you have the coolest girl friend ever.

Second, I have mild OCD, and it usually doesn't affect much, other than compulsive reloading and hoarding (I have around two hundred keys in oblivion).

Not much, except that my contact lenses dry up and start to blur at around 10pm, which is before prime gaming time.

I have a oldish tv that has like a rounded tv screen. And sometimes the shorter screen will cut off words from the top and the bottom. Which can be like health bars etc.

When I have my contact lenses on, I have a very hard time reading white text on a black background, and it is rather common. Not as fun to read some important game-play info or story element when it blurs into white unreadable lines.
It's fine with glasses though... Find it kinda strange :/

I can't talk to anyone online because around this time of my life, my Tourettes is really acting up. People at school don't believe me, I doubt internet people would, they'd just think I'm being annoying.

Cut the end of my thumb off once.

Didn't stop me from playing in a Jedi Outcast tournament though.

That was a painfully fun filled day.

Here's a link [http://negativegamer.com/2010/02/11/what-bioshock-2s-hacking-looks-like-if-youre-colour-blind/] to see what Bioshock 2's hacking looks like if you have certain types of colour blindness.

This link [http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/02/12/colourblind-gaming-is-it-in-his-eyes/] is for the Rock, Paper, Shotgun blog's take on the issue.

Glad to see the issue is at least getting attention by some people.

I had a similiar problem when I had the PS3, lots of the small text was almost unreadable to me. In Prototype I could NOT tell which button the instructions for each power were indicating because I could not indentify the symbol.

It is because my TV is not so big and is a cheap, old concave (or convex?) screen that was serious pixel troubles with current-gen games.
