I have a small theory for those films. The reason why the first Scary movie was a success is, it focused on the 90's films. These days, every spoof movie only focused on the recent year. If the movie had a better writers team, maybe they would have been appreciated.

Nice review, I haven't seen the movie and probably never will. But unfortunately I saw Meet the Spartans and Superhero Movie with my friends we thought "at least it will be better than doing nothing" we were wrong... REALLY REALLY WRONG!!!!

You have to give them credit for making a good trailer though. Trailer actually made me lol a little, like the part with the princess getting hit by the car. That being said, these idiots try to make an actual story happen, and they shoehorn in all this product placement and these references that just don't fit with what's going on. Worst thing is, these two directors take themselves seriously, like very seriously, they had an interview on MTV after, I think, Epic Movie released, and they talked about stuff like character development, and how the characters would grow throughout the story and...yeah.

Personally I think whoever's doing this is suffering from severe demensia. Atleast I hope so, the alternative (whatever it is) is undoubtedly even more embarrassing.

Personally I didn't hate the movie that much, the reason for this being I saw the reviews that said it was the worst movie everrrrr, and when I went to watch it I was expecting the worst movie everrrr but to be honest I've seen worst so I guess it didn't live up to all the bad hype surrounding it which made it good? or just not bad? I duno?
