Thats great news. New director, new writer...this movie could work out well. Add original ideas and you have a winner.
Subtlety? You think George Lucas has Subtlety? So when he went back and reedited somebody else's work and took out all of the moments of silent tension in the original trilogy and dubbed over them you think it was for subtlety sake?Foolproof said:Yes, who needs him and subtlety? Im ok with this. Seriously. The further Disney can keep Lucas from his franchises the better.

It'll most likely be how Lucas originally planned it, continuing on after the destruction of the Death Star II. However, because they'll try and make it family friendly, they'll most likely take out some of the great things, like the entire story of the Lusankya.elvor0 said:snip

As in, toning down the violence, the disturbing reality of things, and some gore if not any wounds laid down. Instead they may bring in musical scenes with singing, have the camera shift if something happens where they don't want kids to see anything 'bad' and so forth.
that is my (new) hope. it would give them the freedom to create a brand new story arc with out being tied to the main films while still having everything star wars in itNLS said:will they go into new territories in a far distant future, a sort of reverse-kotor?
