Do eggs count as meat?

Eggs are essentially unborn whatever animal that laid them right? Could that count as meat, or is it classified as another type of food.

Pretty sure the contents of eggs are just nutrients that help whatever's meant to grow inside it. Not sure where the animal the egg is intended for comes into it, but it's probably just a small group of dead cells in the eggs we eat.

Nutritionaly they are similar but an egg is physicaly not meat.

But its same way as eating chicken from store. Yeah, is already dead but if you buy one you increase number sales and get more chickens killed.
