I'm wondering now if anyone remembers me because I've had the same avatar for the entire duration of my Escapist enrolment.

As for people I do recognize, there are about 15-20 I think. I do a fair amount of lurking when I'm not actually posting.

Probably. I've crossed the 10000 post count, which is a good way to embed yourself, and I had a long stint in terrifyingly memorable avatars (which will continue after the current Crabcore breakdown). Two people actually PM'd me to ask me to change it.

I don't rock the boat much and stay out of Religion and Politics when I can help it, though, so I'd say that I'm only recognized.

That's something I've never understood. Why do people change Avatars when they're essentially your identity?
