sadly most chefs don't like to cook at home, since they do that all day at work
Amen to that. I'm a cook myself, and I barely cook for myself at home. Unless I have friends over, but then I cook for them and not really for myself.

I've been told I make very good eggs. Generally I can cook some things. I also know how to make good low-fat french fries.

I love cooking as long as it doesn't involve an oven, I get distracted by the T.V and burn anything inside. Then again my other meals aren't much better I'm the only person who can eat them without puking.

I can only really cook simple things - mainly pasta and stuff from tins. I've never really tried cooking anything fresh. I can almost make a chili con carne with rice. That's the height of my culinary skills...

I can cook pretty well, and most other guys admit my knack for turning a pile of random condiments into a brilliant sauce is bordering on epic skill. My spiced Horseradish mustard cream sauce with pepper is one of the best things I've ever put on a wrap.

But yeah, I can cook pretty well, I just don't bake that well.

I cook a decent stir fry, but because I use a very basic/scientific process

Carbohydrate (noodles/rice/pasta) + protein (chicken/beef/lamb/pork) + 3 vegetables (carrots/onion/broccoli/celery/capsicum) + topping.

I pretty much destroyed the meal I tried to cook yesterday, a Philippino pea and rico soup thing, it was soggy and burnt. I try it every couple of months with varying success. Ultimately you get green rice that taste like peas.

I'm 16, been working on my sushi construction skillz, and can cook most household meals (grilled foods, breakfasts, sandwiches, pasta, etc etc.)

I've also had fun making random desserts out of assorted fruits and stuff i find. probably my favorite invention so far is 2 slices of bread, with a bit of water and mashed up back into dough, rolled out. Applesauce, cinnamon, bit of butter, and a bit of sugar in the middle, fold over the apple stuff, lightly butter on the outside, and cook until golden. takes about 5 minutes all in all.

capsicum? I'm not familiar with this device.
