I'm not afraid of death in the least. Like life, it's a natural part of existence. I will admit I'm a bit worried/curious about what happens after.

No I do not fear death. Being a born-again christian (or "religious" person as most people like to stereotype us as being) I rest in the assurance that Christ died for my sins and by accepting him as my savior and working to live my life as he intended based on what he laid out in his word, I'm freed from them and am promised an eternal reward rather than an eternal torment. Of course that doesn't mean I don't value my life, Christ challenges us to live for him until the day of our death and share his truth with others.

Okay, now you've heard the "crazy religious morons'" opinion so let a rip *raises flame shields*

In a general sense? No. I do fear the prospect of me being gone from this world though. I still have things I need to get done and accomplish before I die; make sure my brother makes it as an adult, my grandma is taken care of, ect. So I fear death but probably in a different way than you.

I fear the pain associated with death. It seems like death will be painful, the most painful experience you could possibly go through. What happens after won't really matter...unless Hell exists and I get in. Otherwise I'm guessing that once you leave behind all of these glands, organs, nerves and, fluids things should go by pretty painlessly and, without much passion or, fear to cloud your perceptions.

Of course, I'm in no hurry to see what lies beyond. I'll see it eventually but it can wait.

Do I fear death? Hell yeah I fear death! Why wouldn't I? You stop existing, and there may or may not be something after, and it may or may not be good! It's a huge scary unknown! And it'll probably hurt quite a bit on the way out too!

So yes! I fear death!

...Not enough to serve ten years on the flying dutchman, but still, I fear death.

Of course I am afraid of my existence ending--how can there be life without me?--As all I know is from my perspective.
Nonetheless, I can live freely knowing I'm not going to die anytime soon. And for whenever the time shall come, I shall greet it- no use running or cowing- I'm just going to close my eyes and smile.

Of dying? Yes. I'd rather die later than sooner, so I definitely go out of my way to, you know, avoid dying.

Of death? No. Why would I be afraid of something I'm not going to experience?

Not really, everyone dies and you know "Life is a joke and then you die"
(some people like to add:) And you don't even get to hear the punchline".

Why fear death sure (if you have a consciousness) I would think: Damn really now? Oh well could have done a lot worse, so what now? (Or if I continue my sarcastic route: Damn I forgot the kettle on;-).
But how little do we know about death compared to life?..And can't say I met a lot of dead people lately so I can't ask them "So what happens when you die?" but I know a few living so I can ask them "how's life for ya?" and they usually answer "Well, living/alive"

Edit: and yea kinda fear dying 'cause can't imagine that as something fun (except maybe that "suicide roller coaster..")

No, I fear pain. Pain is real. I get hurt every single day I go to work. I can't count the times I've been hit in the shins, knees, gotten bruised, scratched, hit my head, overexerted my back or my groin, or even just moving around in my uncomfortable management-mandated steel toe boots. Emotional pain is also pretty much a constant in addition to the physical. If death means I won't feel pain anymore, then I do not fear death.

The amount of joy I've felt from my existence pales in comparison to the amount of pain I've endured. That's a fact.

I don't see much point in worrying about the inevitable.
What will happen will happen; I hope to live a rewarding life in the meantime, but I don't fear an end.

I don't want to die before I am 70.

I am afraid/curious of what happens after, I am catholic but I just hope god forgives me for my sins.

Death? Not really no. The act that may cause said death? Yeah, thats something I try to avoid. I don't fear death, I fear getting run over by a semi crossing the street causing my death.

Not at all, we all die, we all will die, and it's best not to fight it when the time comes.

No.
I don't fear death, but that doesn't mean that I don't care whether I live or die. I love life, even if it's hard most of the times, even if I say a gazillion time I hate it, even if it hurts so often, it doesn't matter. It's my life, my only life and I love it.

To live means also to die. If we don't die, it wouldn't be "life' but just plain "existing". What makes our lives so precious is how short they are.

I would like to live as long as possible, but I'm not scared of dying. If it's my time, I will accept it "as a man".

What I hate about people and this topic when it comes during conversations is how people always misunderstand me. Accepting death isn't giving up on life. If you accept death, that doesn't mean you stop fighting for your life.
