well...do ya?

while I definetly pay attention if yahtzee actually likes somthing...no not really

this reminds me of the witcher reveiw...I mean was it me or some people were actually unhappy yahtzee didnt like it? I mean it seems like a no-brainer since he doesnt like the first one

and what doesnt it matter anyway? I mean nagativity is pretty much his "thing"

I do however avoid his reveiws on a game that I am going to get or have yet to finish, because I dont want me veiw tainted...plus he gives away plot details alot

Nope. It's an opinion. Having an opinion is his job. I may not agree with everything he says, but I'll still find it entertaining.

Nope, and he has done many, many times.

I usually agree with the points he makes too, but it doesn't magically make me start disliking the game. Generally I like something he doesn't because the negative points don't bother me much, or the positive points affect me more.

He does give away plot a lot! What a jerk!

Anyway, I do prefer agreeing with him (as with anyone really), but I know that is recklessly unlikely, so I have no problem with him trashing all my favorite games, as long as he does it with a dick joke and his trademark dead baby comedy.

i did for a bit but then realized it was a stupid prospect to get angry at an opinion
Extra credits help to calm down too

I love The Witcher and yet watching his reviews made laugh my face off!

Not at all, because he usually hits the nail on the head I'm just in denial to keep the joy :D

Always enjoy his critique, even more so if it's a game I know well because he just nails the bad parts.

Nope, 'cuz he's often making valid points. Like in the review of Devil May Cry 4, he points out that the cutscenes take up way too much time, and that the whole boardgame section is a piece of ass. And he's right about it.

Not really. That's his opinion, and quite frankly, I'll only pay attention to it if he loves a game. He hates most games, so the ones he does like are often worth playing, or at least looking into in my opinion.

I see Yahtzee's reviews more a satirical critique more than an actual review of a game. They're made for comedy, not really to influence ones decisions

Sometimes I get upset when a game he likes turns out to be utter shit. Honestly, did not like Sands of Time all the much, but he RAVES about it. I keep wondering if I somehow purchased the wrong game or something.

As for him trashing games I like? No, I don't hold it against him. Usually he makes some good points that only the blindest fantards refuse to admit exist.

I'll often make a note of his criticisms of a game, but I don't take offense if he pans a game that I enjoy. I enjoyed Borderlands, for example, but still found his complaints about the game to be pretty accurate.

His hating a game that I like doesn't make me like it any less.

Sometimes it annoys me a little, particularly that whole business with his ragging on Halo, but for the most part I'm able to cope because:
A. He's unbiased in the sense that he seems to hate everything.
B. He's always genuienly funny.

If nothing else I never felt like he was intentionally just trying to rile me up for lols or because he has some kind of irrational hatred for the game and by extension, me, for the game existing.

Which is more then I can say for Movie Bob...

If I took Yahtzee seriously I'd have stopped watching a long time ago. After the first episode in fact. I just find it funny nitpicking, with the odd good point thrown in there now and again.
