I don't hate it but it's neglected as hell. I haven't powered the thing on in about a week and before that it was a couple months.

I've been sort of disapointed from time to time, but overall i actually like it.

I think the wii controls, if done correctly, can add a very good something to a game.
I also think there actually is some very good games for the wii: zelda, mario, metroid, smash, no more heroes and madworld to name some.

There's huge shitloads of bad games, or games so focused on the youngest part of the audience, that most older people find them booring, but from what i've heard the PS3 and 360 also have shitloads of bad games, it's just the way gaming is, 90% is crap, but the last 10% is good.

I think the wii will only get better once game developers get used to it, and starts making the controlls worth gold instead of just random misplaced wii-mote wanking, on just plain bad as the sword fighting in red steel.

I really prefer the point-shooting of the wii mote compared to analog sticks ofthe other consoles, though none of them compares to a mouse IMO, when it comes to FPS i would mostly ignore that whole genre if i had a PS3 or 360, cause i almost always hate it with sticks, only exception is RE4 on the GC, which was different because all the enemies were slow you stood still while shooting, so it wasn't a problem to aim that horribly slow compared to PC FPS.

Just my thoughts on the wii

I hate my Wii so much that I gave it to my sister. My PS3 is exactly what I wanted. The Wii ended up being horrible to me. I never played anything on it for more than a few hours before getting bored and shelfing it for a couple weeks or even months.

I enjoy mine, i bought it for its purpose which is providing a new experience. The games are getting more reliant on the wii mote, which i think is appropriate and the right direction to take. Most gamers have become too invovled with their shoot-em-up-nukem-to-death games, the ones for the xbox and ps3. The wii gives me something fresh, new and -to me- exciting.

Hardly ever mess with it unless I've got company that can't play a real game.
Though I do find time to play around with No More Heroes.
Hate? Nah...
Disappointed? Hardly
I just feel perhaps it was just one system I didn't really need.

I love it as a system, its the only one of the three that offers something other than a graphical upgrade. It just does not have a good enough selection of games.

The Wii is a poorly made console, in my opinion. The hardware standards are previous generation, and the fact that it has a wiggle waggle controller is no way to make up for it. 99% of the games are sub-standard, and the whole "appealing to casual audiences" thing is getting on my nerves. The face that it doesn't have any strong fps or "hardcore" games is fine, what makes me angry is that Nintendo has no regard for it's fan's requests. Hey, Super Mario Galaxy was a great game, and it sold well. Should we give them a sequel or another great Mario platformer? No! Let's release Wii Music, a game with such little thought put into it it makes me mad it's that it's one of the top selling games right now.

And don't get me started on the Wii's whole online capabilities.

I wasted my money on the Wii craze. I should have saved my $250 for something better.

I'll say I'm dissapointed, but...I don't hate the little guy. He gave me some fun, got me to workout a bit, and taught me how to drive *sarcasm*. Seriously though, when I have a bunch of friends over, nothings funnier(or more fun) than playing some Mario Kart, Mario Party, or Warioware.

I find it hard to say that I hate it, but It's only just recently dawned on me how much of a dissapointment it has been for me.

I preordered mine and picked it up on the launch day and have only bought five games for it in what is about 2 years (2 of which were both Guitar Hero). I'm also not much of a graphics fiend, but after coming home from a mates house who has GH on his 360, It's a little disheartening to come home to PS2 graphics.

I am saddened by the thick dust that is collecting on my Wii. Sorry if I jumped into this conversation a little late lol.
