I got a psp for my birthday last year. So I have a portable gaming device that's top-of-the-line.
But I kept my Gameboy Advance SP. I keep it in my backpack and take it out during lunch at school. Pokemon Sapphire For the Win! [and mario&luigi]
Then my little brother has the Wii, and Brawl. But he still uses that lovely Gamecube.
I also kept my PS2.

If that stuff counts...

Got rid of my PS2 about a month ago but didn't sell my games.

I plan on buying it back when I get the chance.

Yes.

I don't buy new games often, so when I do they're games I know will last. On the very few occasions I've ever traded or sold an old game I always ended up regretting it and so it's not something I do anymore.

Hell, I've still even got my old NES and all the games for it. Same with the Sega Genesis and even my old Black & White Gameboy. Every once and awhile it's fun to boot em up for some retro gaming.

I have...Sega Genesis, and a Sega CD that both still work, along with the original Sonic game, and Sonic 2. :D

I used to have an Atari, but it um...exploded. >.>;

I still have my Genesis, Gamecube, and PS2. And still use them occasionally...well, technically I use the PS2 all the time, still.

Yes I still have my PS2 and a few of my PS1 games. The only time, when I throw an old console out is when it breaks, to a point were it can't be fixed. For example I had to throw out my N64, due to breakage. I tried everything to get it fixed even took it to game shop, to see if they could do something about it. Sadly nothing could be done and my N64's fate was sealed. (That was a sad day for me.)

I keep every single one I buy.

Even when my PS2 broke it went in the cupboard, and not the bin.
I also have a Megadrive hooked up to a TV in the attic with Sonic 2 which I bought about 15 years ago. Still works too.

I still have a copy of Operation C for the Gameboy, it doesn't work, I sorta just lost it.
Lost the Ps2 to the cats.
Gamecube is to the right of me.
GBA in the closet.

And I still find little squares stringed together beautiful.

The only console I have ever sold was my Xbox 360 to buy a PS3. I still have all my Gameboys (the original brick one, Gameboy Colour somewhere, Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance SP, what a great way to spend my childhood), Nintendo 64 and PS2.

I learned to keep my PS2, the hard way. I sold my Xbox and now I can't play half my games, and alot of the other ones have annoying glitches (especially my beloved KotOR)
