Do you lie about yourself online?

Lying is my most faverate pass-time. I like to lie. In real life too. Not anything important, just I like making up random Bull, that is obviously fake. Suprising how many people belive it too.

Not really. Sometimes I'll leave things out or divert the issue, but I'm genuinely truthful.

Like the guy said above, it's actually kinda easier to be truthful on the webs than it is in real life. In fact, the only reason I don't try to fully realize my internet persona in real life is because I come way more bitchy in my posts than I ever am in real life. I doubt many people I know would be able to make that connection by just reading the posts. Though I do use this primarily as a venting tool.

Uhh... what were we talking about? Right, lying. Nah, I'm pretty truthful here.

I don't really have anything to gain from lying. My life has been fun and interesting enough in itself that I don't need to fabricate anything to make it "better". Besides, that's what the future is for.

I really have no reason too. I am widely accepted online for the most part. I'm a geek after all. Why lie about something that people accept and like?

My flying yacht filled with playboy bunnies may be a bit exaggerated though. I'll come and admit it, the yacht really doesn't fly so much as glide. And its not filled with playboy bunnies. Just the regular cute fuzzy kind.

Most of the time I'm fairly honest. I don't see a point why I should lie about stuff. There's stuff I keep hidden, but I am generally more honest online than I usually am. If someone judges me here it doesn't matter. I know some of you by avatar and user name, but I don't have any close friendships with anyone. If you were to know things about me that some of my friends didn't know I wouldn't care. Simply because being honest proves my point more often than than lying. Even if I am having a really heated debate and I realize I'm wrong about certain things I know that in cases of technology and law there are several of you who know more than me. If I were to lie about my knowledge that would mean I know I lost the discussion and not being mature enough to admit it. That's a lot worse than simply being wrong. There are more reasons why I feel I can be more honest here than in real life, but I am already generating an impressive wall of text here.

I don't lie about things. I streamline some things I say. Like I say friend instead of my brother's friend. It's not really a lie. They are kind of a friend. we hang out etc but they are more friends with my brother.

I do withhold a lot of information/don't correct errors people online have assumed about me. If someone assumed I was over 30, married with kids. I just roll with it. I like for people to react to me from their experience with me. If they think thats who I am why should I need to sit them down and tell them to stop stereotyping people.

I'm not a fan of giving people personally information. If someone fishes for information I just stonewall them/ignore them.
