I used to absolutely hate it, but I found that going out, getting smashed off your tits, and dancing the night away makes it sound a lot better. After the first few times, whenever I heard a song from the night before, I would generally like it purely from the memories it invoked, which soon evolved into liking just about all of it purely for the sound of it. I find a lot of it fun, and makes me want to dance, get hammered, and live for the memories :)

Yeah, but all of the bands OP listed as downright terrible. I like stuff like Aphex Twin, Yellow Magic Orchestra, 808 State, Björk, Gangpol Und Mit, DJ Technorch, and Emeralds.

I've been listening to a rapidly increasing amount of it lately. It kind of started with bands like The Knife and Radiohead, then I started to get into Venetian Snares. Now I'm addicted to Downlink and Infected Mushroom.

Like it?!?! I LOVE IT!!! Im ADDICTED!!!
It all started way back with a little Dance, than i moved on to House and little David Guetta...
Later on i listened to techno and moved to harder and harder stuff...
Now i can't wake up without listening to mindfuckery that would give you normal people a huge headache...
Im also a supporter of HARD BASS movement.

Daft Punk is the only electronic band I liked. Well ok there are still a few others like Mylo but Daft Punk I can listen straight away since the others I may have to listen a few times to wheather I liked it or not.

Industrial, EBM, Aggrotech, Classic Electornica (Kraftwerk), Synth/Cold Wave (Depeche Mode) ... yeah i do like it. I like good musci, genre doesn't really matter, nor the instruments used to produce it.

Yes but only the old stuff. Mostly Jean Michel Jarre but also some Vangelis and Kraftwerk.
Almost anything newer than that I don't consider music to be honest (exceptions are Pet shop Boys and some Daft Punk).

Daft Punk, of course, are amazing. I've heard some Justice too, they seem pretty good as well. I like chiptune stuff a lot too, hell I've even wrote a few chiptune songs.

I like EBM, Electro-Industrial, Industrial Dance Music, Aggrotech and Rhythmic Noise, which I suppose qualifies me.

Love it!

I got into it through old industrial (Throbbing Gristle and Einsturzende Neubauten) and kinda branched into the tangle of genres from there. My greatest affection is still for experimental electronic music: typically post-industrial, IDM-DSP, music concrete, Foley sound wank. Bands like DownLOAD, Xanopticon, Somatic Responses bring all my favorite elements together nicely.

But... I appreciate all sorts of stuff and try to keep an open mind. There's tons of great music out there.

I think you'd get a kick out of Plastic Assault if you haven't heard them(?) ... great "new oldschool" EBM... Very remindful of Caustic Grip era FLA or various Nitzer Ebb.

Also, for powernoise / rhythmic noise:

I love Suicide, does that count? Also a big fan of The Tubeway Army and Rob Grainer/Delia Derbyshire.

Love it, My favourite band at the moment is Shiny Toy Guns.
It's strange as I really hated clubbing when I was a teen but now I can't get enough. Don't really know what Dubstep is, I've heard the term but haven't had time to look into it.

Yeah I quite like it. Radiohead incorporates it into a lot of their music now, I like Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada among others.

The flake period would be roughly 1995-2005 when Reznor was at the height of his fame after the downward spiral, became obsessed with one project (that became the fragile). It wasnt till With teeth that he started to get his act back together and making something that resembled music again. A decade with one vanity project to show during the height of your popularity for it in the music industry is fairly flakey.
