I've got to say, the latter is really cool. Giving people the ideas of the possibilities that are out there, just waiting to be discovered. Gotta love it.Last Bullet said:Science is awesome. If I ever had to choose who's my hero(s), it would be the Mythbusters team. That show, and the new Universe show with Steven Hawking is just cool.
my sentiments exactly. chemistry was great funSleekgiant said:Well who doesn't like SCIENCE!!!!
As for particular branch I'd have to say Chemistry, it was the most interesting of all the branches that I studied.
Ain't nothing wrong with your dedication that's for sure.Doctor VonSexMachine said:Yeah, it's real, and mine. That was a terrible pic right after it was healed, but it's still vibrant 2 years later.Nincompoop said:Fo' realz yo? I mean, that isn't your tattoo, is it?Doctor VonSexMachine said:![]()
I'm a chemical engineering student.
Undergraduate is right.Hallmehn said:Being a member of the Youth Association of Science I have to say YES!
Science is beautiful, just beautiful.
this summer I'm startin as an undergraduate (sorry, I don't know if that's the right way to say it in English) in Physics and Astronomy. Namely particle physics, string theory and practically everything to do with astronmy interest me deeply.
Oooooh care to share what you researched for the PhD?(Not to pry, just very curious, and to my experience, doctors like sharing what they researched.)mplantinga said:I like science enough to have a PhD in Biochemistry and work in a cancer research lab. Yeah, I guess I like science!
ah, sorry, what I meant was that I at the moment enjoy reading about both quantum mechanics and relativity, and I've actually yet to make up my mind. As for what I'm going to study is currently the astronomy courses, but that can change. Cleverly noted, thoughNecator15 said:Undergraduate is right.Hallmehn said:Being a member of the Youth Association of Science I have to say YES!

Odd that you would do astronomy and particle physics, they're radically different. Astronomy and astrophysics generally have more to do with relativity, whereas particle physics is quantum mechanics which are (At the moment) two inconsolable ideas.
Working on a BA or BS, I'm honestly not sure which, but probably a BA (Probably would've preferred a BS, but I don't like big schools) Either way it will be in Chemistry, with a minor in Mathematics.Hallmehn said:ah, sorry, what I meant was that I at the moment enjoy reading about both quantum mechanics and relativity, and I've actually yet to make up my mind. so, earlier in this thread you mentioned chemistry, do you have any degrees?
