Do you like science?

The question is fairly simple: Do you like science? If you do, is there any particular reason why? If you don't, once again, is there any reason why?

Outside that, do you have a favorite branch of study?

EDIT: For added fun, if you've done any sort of post-undergraduate research, and you're able to talk about it at all, care to share?

Well who doesn't like SCIENCE!!!!

As for particular branch I'd have to say Chemistry, it was the most interesting of all the branches that I studied.

Love Science, favourite branch has to be Genetics, my Biochemistry degree doesn't have enough genetics in it.

I realised the other day that my enthusiasm for mad genetics started when I watched Street Sharks as a child, the premise of that show was awesome.
Now me and a mate doing chemistry want really want to make genetically engineered Battle Badgers.

Physics especially, mostly astrophysics or experimental physics to be even more specific. I don't know why... it works and it helps. Things make much more sense seen fron a scientific view. Rain is god's tears? Fuck that, rain is humidity in the coulds falling down because of gravity!
It just makes more sense.

I am extremely interested in technological advances. I have to like science in order to understand and get giddy about it.

Nanotechnology would be my 'branch', since it will enable us to make extraordinary leaps in technological advancement. I might study nanotechnology after 3 years of IT.

Addendum; I find theoretical physics quite interesting at times.

Love it. I'm studying Maths-Physics at the moment and I think it's great. I like physics the most (and maths, I consider it a science :p, though I'm veering more down the applied route), then chemistry, then *shudder* biology. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more if it were more the biochemistry side I studied but the modules I took in my first year were so godawfully boring!

I hate experiments. I did a 6 week electronics lab where it became virtually my second home and what did I have to show for it? Really painful fingers from where the loose bits of wire I'd left in my back pocket had got right under my nail. And a pretty good grade I guess.

I'm friends with a few astrophysics students actually, sounds like great fun but I've never actually tried it.

Yes, I love it. My favourite branch is Chemistry but, strangely the stuff that interests me most is Biology because it baffles me how atoms can form to make life.

Anything to do with space, black holes etc I love. Beside I have to like it, my step dad used to teach Quantum and Astrophysics, I grew up with it.

I love Biology and Physics. Chemistry is enjoyable, but not as much as those.
... but Biology is chemistry. Which itself is physics.

I love learning about the creation of the universe and stars and black holes and stuff like that, so I guess I'll go with astrophysics.

I love science. I wouldn't get a tattoo with it, but I understood science since I was very young and I've always liked to know the physical phenomena behind everyday objects.

...You win. Especially if that is a tattoo, and yours.

I mean I love science (Chemistry, go figure), but damn, I never considered that.

Yeah, it's real, and mine. That was a terrible pic right after it was healed, but it's still vibrant 2 years later.

Science is reassuring. It's why I took both Physics and Chemistry, it makes sense of things.

That said, OHMYGODCHEMISTRYEXAMTOMORROW!

as Illidan Stormrage would say,
