My name is Eric, which is... well, it gets the job done, and it's not common enough to get confused with others easily, while at the same time isn't obscure enough to be awkward or difficult for others to remember/pronounce/etc. There aren't too many other Erics I've come into contact with, and when there were, they were always completely different in terms of their looks, personality, ethnicity, etc.

Still, I really would prefer if my name was, I dunno, Mattias.

And I was Swedish.

And I could play the guitar better.

I love my name, so much.
I'm so glad my dad loved Lord of The Rings just as much as me.
Oh, by the way, it's Arwen.

My name isn't bad. Apparently it's quite a unique name, as I have only seen two other people in my life with the name Toby.
I'd prefer Stanley though, that's a suh-weet name.

Name's Adam.
I like it. It's uncommon enough around here.
Can't really make a "nickname" out of it (like Bill & Billy).
Adamy.
No.

I'm Shayan. I like the name because it's unique here in the states and in Iran, but I haven't had a non-Iranian person pronounce it correctly.

My name is Colin
I like it because It's Irish, I'm Irish, and I can say it with an Irish accent and have it sound cool.

Andrew..... Andrew...... i hate it.
Andy is better, i know one person who called me Ange which i'm ok with but my parents hate it because it sounds like its short for Angela.

I'd prefer something like Hale, sounds like i'd live alone in the woods hunting deer.

Darcy is uncommon enough for me to take a certain measure of pride in it. The fact that it can also be a girl's name doesn't bother me too much.
Well hello Mr. Darcy.
Yeah, that whole Pride and Prejudice thing annoys me. Girls mention it all the frickin' time. It gets mighty old.

Nathan isn't bad. But I notice that in every film, book, or tv series, Nathan is an arsehole or villain who usually redeems himself at one point and/or dies a horrible death. It's worrying.
