Yes, quite a lot actually. It's not fairly common (so less of a chance to be called out by mistake), but not something incredibly out there to attract unwanted attention or a terrible childhood nickname. Best of all, it has 7 letters in it like my middle and last names.

Edit: Oddly enough, my main username that I use in games and forums (not this particular name) and my main email address (discluding the @*****.com part) are also made up of 7 letters... CONSPIRACY!

A lot of people put the change down to spite, like I didn't want to be a part of the family anymore. Nah, just simple aesthetics.

Sorry about that. Anyway, name's Johnny. I don't think it's that common here (Sweden), but I'll admit that I love my name. I constantly claim that it's the best name in music and point at songs like "Lost Johnny", "English Civil War (Johnny Comes Marching Home)", "Bye Bye Johnny", and "Johnny B. Goode". I also point at musicians like Johnny Rotten, Johnny Winter and Johnny Cash.

I used to hate my name when I was younger because I was picked on mercilessly for spelling it "Sarah" instead of the (in Sweden) more common "Sara". But yeah, then I grew up and realized that kids are not only evil, but fucking retarded, and will pick on you for the most mundane of reasons.

I have since come to the conclusion that my name, while pretty damn common (in my age group especially, since it was one of the most popular names for girls in Sweden during the late '80s and early '90s), is also pretty damn awesome.

I like my name, it's fairly unique and the only other person who I've seen with it, was some fat dude, so that certainly boosts my chances against other Cadens. It's also celtic, so that too makes me happy as I like most of the celtic nations. That's it really, it's unique and fairly cool and when said with a pommy accent sounds mighty fine, I myself am not a pom but Australian though.

Pretty cool, means Gift of God, Loved by God in Hebrew. My last name however, is Wensley, and Wensleydale is a kind of cheese. Not the coolest last name, but it could also be a bastardisation of Wellesley, Arthur Wellesley being the famous Duke of Wellington!
