Evan, yes I am quite happy with it. not too common but not odd, and when combined to Evan Frazier it tends to have a nice ring.

Christopher, apparently means "Christ Barer" or "the one who bears Christ (in his soul)", according to wikipedia. Also the legend of St. Christopher. While I am Christian, I don't like my name because of this.

I was named after a relative on my dad's side who died when he pushed his fiancée out the way of a car driven by a drunk driver so I'm immensely pride of my name. The name also has some benefits; I know when something is important because I get called Christopher instead of Chris.

Not a perfect name though. It's been corrupted into all kinds of adjectives to compliment the corruptions of my last name.

I'm not a fan of mine. My parents picked it because it was the most popular baby name for 1982. They literally went with whatever was most generic for my birth year.

It was my mom's idea. My dad wanted to call me Gaelyn. I would have preferred that, to be honest. A name like that, you grow up with a certain personality.

I've been told I have the most amazing name in the entire history of the universe

Literally, anybody who's heard my full name has told me they want to swap names

But yeah, I have 3 middle names, for a total of 5, incredible names...So yeah, I love my name. My first name is Oscar, which I believe means "Defender of the Faith" or something along those lines

I'm Richard Maxwell James Philbin, I used to hate my middle name, but I have grown to like having a slightly unusual name

Well, my name is Demi. Which is messed up, because for a long time, the only Demi I knew (Moore) was a woman. Then there's also the fact that it's French for half. So yeah, not too excited about that.

But the people closest to me just call me Deem, in a way that is very hard to pronounce in English, but it makes sense. But it has recently been brought to my attention that Deem is... well, a dick. In Flemish. Of course, it's not gonna stop me from replying to my nickname or other people from using it, but it is there, y'know.

Also, there's the fact that I'm the middle child in my family. My mother always told my oldest sister that she'd be called Sean if she was a guy, after Mr. Connery. And she also tells my younger sister this... I'm in between those two, and I am a guy. And I'm not called Sean. This amazes me. She then replies by saying that she was just tired of the name... Facepalm.

My given name - Jason - certainly. Greek in origin, and named after the tale of Jason and the Argonauts. My middle name - Alexander - I'm quite fond of as well, especially since Alexander was one of the greatest generals (or some such, my memory's a little hazy on that one) the world has ever known.

My surname, however... I won't comment.

No. I hate my name. Jeremiah is a shitty name. If I wasn't so used to the moniker, and if it wasn't such a hassle, I'd change it. Not like I could actually afford a frivolous name change, but if I could, I'd seriously contemplate it.

I love my name. Ethan is common enough to not be weird and unsayable, but not so common that everyone has it.

Although I dislike the way some people say it and the fact that it's hard to make a nick-name out of it. Some people call me Etho.

The only time I dislike my name is when people call me Bill. I will never understand why Bill is short for William.
Ever read the Invincible comics? There's a guy in it named William who always complains why people will call him anything (Bill, Billy, Willie) before they'll call him William.

My name is Gemma, but my friends often call me "Gem" or "York/Yorkie" (the latter nickname comes from the fact that I hail from Yorkshire and I am about 5'3).

I actually quite like it, my dad gave me my first name, and my mum gave me my middle name, which is "Chloe". So my full name is a compromise from both parents. Which is nice.

I like my full name (I have iliterative initials) but wierdly I've had a love-hate relationship with my full-time nickname. I chose it myself but regretted it partly because although it was unique in my school as a shortening of my name it got me a lot of stick, that and people saying it wrong because of the local accent. When I got to Uni I had decided to just go by my full name but a trick of fate stopped that from happening when a friend of mine at the same Uni put about that I went by my nickname not my full name.
Since then I've actually found it useful to have a persona that I can almost hide behind with only my family and lecturers really knowing me by my full name.
So yeah, as names go, at least I'm not one of ten of that years most popular baby name or something.

My full name is Elizabeth and my nickname is Betty by the way

Declan.

You don't meet many Declans in England, so thats good for me!
However, not a fan of the religious overtones of the older meaning attached to it.
No-one ever ever ever spells it correctly - Declun, Decland, Declin, Deklyn... the list goes on!

I do like all the nicknames I've gotten over the years - Declan is pretty easy to mess about with apparently! :D

Yui? Sure, however, people actually refer to me as Hope since there were complications with my birth, my parents have always refered to me as that. And I love that name. <3
