i totally forgot about Hanzel Und Gretyl, they sing in German now, tho they used to sing in English, the funny part is they aren't German, they're from New York

also their songs are pretty funny if you translate them

Lots and lots of J-rock / J-pop.

Even if I know the lyrics, I don't usually know what I'm saying.
Unless I deliberately tried to learn them.

So... No?

I listen to a few bands in different languages. I'm a fan of In Extremo (German/Gothic folk metal) and Gogol Bordello (Russian jazz/klezmer type stuff). I have, on occasion, also listened to songs in Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese.
Often I like songs in languages I don't understand. That way a song isn't ruined by crappy lyrics, and I can just listen to the music.

IMHO, Rammstein sucks.

Yeah but Im Cuban American and hence bilingual, the one in english and spanish I understand no problem. I can understand portuguese songs for the most part, and I can get the general feel of italian songs. Frenech however, posses a bit of a problem. I can get a few words out of the song, due to the romantic/latin origin.

But yeah, most of my music is romantic language songs. I got some random german, russian, japanese and indian (from india)stuff. Oh and this on artist from china, but I dont knwo which language he's speaking.

I really enjoy listening to Greek and Italian music. I grew up with those songs being played all the time at both my grandparents' houses, all the time. Thank God I liked listening to them!

I've got loads of German music, though my personal favorite is Wir sind Helden. I've also got quite a bit of French and Spanish music.

Though my most prided foreign language music is from the Texas/Mexico border that I'll record live in border towns.

Edit: 500th post!

Gogol Bordello and a new band I discovered called Diablo Swing Orchestra. I think a lot of the operatic parts are in a different language.

Swedish is probably the most common but occasionally German pops up.

Metal music primarily, if you can't guess from the 'Swedish' part.

The only one I can think of is The Girl From Ipanema and that's mostly in English anyway.
I also have the French national anthem sitting in my iTunes, but I'm not sure how it got there.

Seryoga - Russian hip-hop, which I found through GTA4

Rhapsody of Fire - Italian orchestral metal band
Vanilla Sky - Italian pop-punk band

Lots of random trance music and Japanese Eurobeat stuff

Josh Groban sings in English, Italian, Spanish, and French

And all the other choral/orchestral music I have, which even includes Latin

Some of the stuff I have translations for, but most of the time I'm in it for the sound/mood.
